The plantlike side of valiscari biology means that the cells of her body reproduce rapidly in cases of growth, where the animallike side of her biology allows for regenerative healing from injuries instead of permanent scarring.

In the absence of other means of acquiring nutrition, a valiscari can consume both plant and animal matter.

The ability to internally synthesize nutrition from a combination of sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water.

The ability to bury the lower portion of her body in fertile ground and draw nutrients from the soil via rootlike filaments on her legs.
Personality:Although merely a week or so old, Lirjask has a very distinct personality despite being a ways off from grasping any kind of language: a bright and fearless one! Her physical capabilities and mental faculties are on par with, say, a human toddler or a baby elephant. She is aware of the world around her and incredibly curious about everything involved with it, despite currently being unable to uproot herself from the spot her seed was planted among Ponalaeth's eggs. A telepath can see her mind as full of vibrantly learning images and a kind of automatic assumption that all the eggs around her are just like her so where is everybody?

She properly imprinted upon her parent Iskassan when she sprouted and recognizes a difference between them, dragons, and humans, but only as far as looks different and not more complicated things like gender or species. She has numerous birdlike vocalizations that are freely directed at anyone that comes to visit the eggs, with leafy fingers more than ready to grasp anything that comes in range!

Iskassan and Ponalaeth are both hopeful that she will draw the bond of one of Pon's children, and of course will be responsible for any hatchling's care before Lirjask is capable of assisting as well.
