My grandmother passed away today. I was with her when it happened. It was all very calm and relaxed. However, I'm now helping my mother with getting the funeral arranged and moving my grandmother's things.
This post is not to say that I'll be away. I'll need you guys for support and to take my mind off this. This is merely to say that I won't be as active as I used to be for a while. I can only handle one thing at a time, which includes story writing and what not. That's why it's been taking me so long to write all that I need to write.
Dray and Kat, I'm sorry I've been so slow in replying to RP posts. I don't know when I'll have the mental power necessary to make another one. Please bear with me on this.
Everyone else, I know I've promised a lot of things and I swear I'll get them done. I just need some time.

*Segs walks up to Mystic with a bunch of flowers...and some falling on the ground*
It's okay, Mystic...don't worry too much about the character you want to send for the Frenzy. You'll get a wolf for him/her anyway. *hugs*

Yakima, I've got Ji'sen's stats page done. I've been working on her story steadily through the week. Can't say I get much done per night, but the writing is relaxing. I was proud of the image I did for her, so I'll show you the stats page now. The story'll come later.

The process was actually quite cleansing. I've been living all week with the belief that I have to be strong for my family. Haven't shed a tear or freaked out. Just been the support. When it happened though, I was right beside her. Holding her hand. She was so peaceful too. She opened her eyes before she went and looked at my mum, and then her breathing just slowed down. Me and my mum cried about it, but I was really surprised when she was the one to suggest we get out of the room. She didn't want the nurses to see her crying either. It's funny what you learn about your family in those situations. I thought /I/ was the prideful one. I just come by it naturally.
For those of you who believe in the afterlife and fate, we found out an interesting little detail about her time of death. At the exact same time, 3:18pm, my cousin was getting on stage to do her ballet performance. We decided that my bascia needed to go then so that she could watch.
And thanks, Sah. That means a lot. :)

(Wow, Mystic, that image is amazing! The wings are so wispy and stuff! ^_^')
*hugs tight* Don't worry about replying with any posts unless you're feeling up to it. Like JKat said, I don't mind waiting for them. I'd rather know that you're feeling alright then that you're trying to poot a post out because you feel like you /have/ to!
I'm sorry about your gramma... but I could totally believe that the coincidence is possible. ^_^" My great gramma died a few years back, but for a few days after she 'visited' mom and I in dreams. XD Mostly just a "hey, I'm alright, I got across just fine," sort of message. Coincidences like that tend to happen, is what I'm trying to get at!
Still! *gives hot chocolate and hugs again* I hope that things look up for you guys right away!

I've been thinking about it and there are just too many coincidences to count. Any other year, I would've been in exams at this time. I specifically got this weekend off so that I could come up and help my mom with the passing. She waited til we got back from Kitchener before leaving. She opened her eyes to say goodbye.
Not to mention the fact that she went on April Fool's Day. That is just so like my grandmother, you have no idea. One last laugh at us. If it rains the day before Easter, I'm going to have a fit. That's Schmigoosh Dingoosh (or however it's spelt). It's the Polish holiday that 'washes' away winter by spraying everyone with water.
