Grand Opening! - PICKUP!

Post by Unyko »

TADA! ^.^

http://unykness.pegaruny.com/Lliyani/Sa ... atch-1.htm
(or go here and click on 'Records', then 'Almost a Hatching...' ^.~ http://unykness.pegaruny.com/Lliyani/SaaShiyovi/)

The first four hatchlings have been seen to their new homes. Whether they bonded or not is up to the writer, as are their names and more in-depth personality. ^.~ You four (Sera, Lakota, IceCat and Shard) have about two weeks to get your new little ones up on a page with some personality (and for the Skilled two, something about whether they choose to become a Shield or Artist). If you get 'em up before the two weeks are over, let me know and I'll get your adult image to you sooner. X3

Enjoy, all! ^.^ And for those who wanted one but didn't have time to do a page, don't worry: the next clutch is gonna be open and accepting candidates 'til at least the 20th of march.

*salute!*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yup, it being the first of March means that this batch is closed, but that's okay, 'cause there's another one on the sands. ^.~ And while this one won't be an -actual- hatching ('cause with the Saa in as much trouble genetically as they are, they can't tell which eggs are actually going to hatch), the next one will. X3
So thanks, all, for your candidates, and I'll have the pickup for you very!soon. :wink:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

UPDATES: The deadline is now set - all candidates are due at the end of the month, so even if there are less than four candis, the hatchlings will go out March 1st (someone may just hafta accept two, that's all X3). As for story-stuff, all that's absolutely required is some little paragraph that lets me know the sponsor/bond's personality so they can be best matched to the hatchlings in question. ^.^;

After these guys go out, there's a brand new clutch to go; Nicari's. ^.~ And if you read the flight story (on the 'Skies' page) you'll know that this clutch is gonna be pretty darn interesting. *GRIN* So you can send in candidates for that clutch starting March 1st, after the previous batch is spoken for.

Aaaaand.. that's about it! So far, I only have two submitted candis, though Shard says she'll have somethin' soon, too. <3 So there's definitely still space for more candidates!

*salute!*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey! ^.^ Just sorta sounding out interest here.. but I just finished putting stuff up for my SaaShiyovi dragons (even though there are two unfinished pages.. shhhh), and decided to adopt a few out. So! X3 I'm putting up an announcement. Yes. I am. See me announce? ^.^;;
The Valley of the Sky
(note: if your browser can't handle frames or div layers, don't worry; I'm working on a tables version which'll be done soonishly. Just for you. ^.~)
There are four hatchlings available, so I need a few candidates. X3 They can either be sponsored or bonded, but a bit of text is required. Doesn't have to be much, just a short story-thing.
Oh, and I have yet to finish coloring all of the adult pics, but here's one example that -is- finished..
*teasetease* X3 - Aemei, who just may possibly be the least impressive/colorful/whatever example of his kind.. ^.^; *pets him* He was the first, give him a break. <3
So yus. If you're interested, either reply here or PM me with:
Your Name:
Email:
Candidate's Name:
Sponsor or Bonding?: (not really important, but I like to know what the preferences are.. ^.^; )
Page:
Tada! ^.^;; Forgive me if there's trouble or something.. I'm still new here. *sheepish* Oh, and you can enter a pre-bonded candidate, as long as the dragon(s) they already have don't mind another one flying around.
Well I can safely say that since I *do* have candidates to finish up and write, you *will* be getting one from me! :) Likely an elf, since they have trees where elfs come from... er, yeah.
Cool! :D I think it'll be open for a while, 'specially since I'm planning on doing a flight while I wait for people to enter... *innocent whistle*
Also: some info has been updated and a few more pages added, including the resident breeders page, the nests page that has some info on the current batch of hatchlings available, and the flights page, which will be updadted when/if one of the girls decides to fly. ^.~ Soon. Yes, soon. *must keep self busy* <.< ... >.> ...
zomg.
Absolutely adorable lineart. :3 The ears! The faces! THOSE TOES! (I have a thing for toes on dragon art)
I'll apparently be the first one to submit a candidate here XD
Your Name: Lakota
Email: Lakotasilver@gmail.com
Candidate's Name: Don Juan Forestsylph
Sponsor or Bonding?: You know, I THINK Dray listed Don Juan as Domah-aisi's "guardian", not "bond", so I think maybe Don Juan doesn't HAVE a bond technically?... but to be safe I guess we'll go for Sponsor, just in case XD
I've got elves getting ready for you, though I haven't started the story yet. Two for here and two elsewhere. :) If you don't mind elves. :D
*blink* I just realized... I forgot to put a deadline, didn't I? o.O How silly of me. Anyone have any suggestions? X3
Edit: Also, there are some newly added residents, if you want more examples of what Saa might look like. ^.~!
*bumps and points to the top for updates and candidate deadline* Last day to send in candidates.. if you're interested in this batch you'd better hurry, or else wait for the upomming clutch, which -won't- be purbred Saa.
*salute! - off to school*
Bah, didn't see this before I guess....definately no time now to do one. :\ Oh well.
x_x I'm afraid to read all of the first-post updates because I want to find out who won the flight by reading the story, and I can't quickly find a link to it without (possibly) finding out the winner and ruining the surprise! Could you link the flight story down here so I can find out after reading? ;_;
And aw feck. v_O I was going to send in a candidate; but I didn't know the deadline and I have no home internet connection because of some residence fuckup. >_<
Thanks Xalia, and sorry Dray. ^.^;; I should mention here that I won't ever make the winners of flights readily viewable on any main page or anything. <3 I guess I should post a link down in the comments tho, in case people don't keep track of first-post updates. *sheepish*
That said, the 'hatching' story and pickup pages are up and available for those who entered candidated. X3 If you wanna read the story to find out who ended up with whom, you can find that here:
http://unykness.pegaruny.com/Lliyani/Sa ... atch-1.htm
(or go here and click on 'Records', then 'Almost a Hatching...')
But if you just can't wait and don't wanna read the story first, you can check out the fostered page. It's linked right off the main page, easy to find. ^.~
*salute* Enjoy! And do get back to me within a coupla weeks. Also, if you wanted one but didn't have time to do a page, don't worry: the next clutch is gonna be open and accepting candidates from now 'til at least the 20th of this month (March).
I'm having fun doing the story of my elves getting where they're going, so by the time I'm done doing that the second of them will be ready for you. :) And I'll be putting a page together for Nth, on his own instead of just his group thing there.
Just a reminder... Sera, Lakota, IceCat and Shard; you need to get your hatchlings up soon so I can give you their adult stages! ^.~ The two weeks will be up on the 14th, but I could end up extending that deadline to next sunday (the 19th) because of upcomming birthday planning stuff which won't let me draw adult stages. ^.^;;
So yeah, if you don't get 'em up by the 14th, then at least let me know, so I can definitely extend the deadline. *salute*
Hey! Sorry, I'd forgotten that Don Juan was a character that Dray helped me make for a BWR dragon XD So, I redid him and made him his own page:
http://www.splintyr.com/characters/donjuan.html
And his hatchling, Barley, is up here:
http://www.splintyr.com/dragons/barley.html
For some reason, the word "barley" sounds really pretty to me right now, so that's why Don Juan named her that!
