I encourage everyone who still owns a Yahoo group to start moderating membership. It's something I've been doing since the early days, and obviously it helps to keep the spambots from dropping in on us unexpectedly.
I'm loathe to leave any of the old groups - largely just in case some of the owners come back to the dragon world, and don't know where to find us. It'd be a shame if someone came back and saw that everyone had quit their group and it's now just filled with spammers...
