While I obviously can't speak for Shiolar, maybe you could convince them to color one for you... or something? I'd love to give her to you but I'm trying to be fair too XD;;

If it's alright with Shiolar and the rest who've posted here, I would. ^^;

(and I can always breed them again, I'm sure Laudu and Usaro' wouldn't complain XDD)

I can do a second clutch, if there's call for one. I don't mind... That way I could try out some of the other colour combinations I had in mind, too... I certainly wouldn't be opposed to colouring a few more...

Maybe I should do several more clutches...

Why is there a limit of three offspring per clutch, anyway? I know Avengaeans only have three per clutch, but the mother is Ryslenese in origin, and it's the mother that determines litter size rather than the father...

That wouldn't really make sense either, because otherwise most of the time he'd fail to fertilise any at all... Males always provide an overabundance to ensure at least one egg gets fertilised. In most animals mating fails at least 50% of the time anyway (in humans it's 85%), and that percentage goes up the less... effective the male is. So Avengaeans would probably die out pretty quickly with such a system...

Maybe because Ryslen has a lot of old-world blood in it 3's the maximum *compatable* possibilities. She might be capable of laying a dozen or more eggs *of pernese descent* but crossbreeding might mess with that.

Could also be this thre-egger was just a coincidence of the breeding. :) Like high-level multiples are to humans. Happens sometimes, but not often!
