Oh Shaaard? Carrumba-question!

Post by Dray »

Heyla, Shard! I was wondering: you've got Carrumba, and it seems that the Driolo school is doing pretty well... I was wondering if you wanted to do some affiliate stuff between the two? XD I'm not sure what-all that'd entail, but it seems like an entertaining idea! Whatchu think?

Absolutely! :) An exchange program, a Nexus linkup, heck even dorms would be fun to share... lol!

"Which way?"
"I dunno, which way is YOUR class?"
"I dunno, but it's not in a desert!"
"Then it's that way - follow the blue line dude." :)

*cackles* XDDD Random portals for the win! Oh, that'd be amusing. Poor aven-kits wandering through a doorway and finding themselves at a /completely/ different campus! XDDDD

Yup - that's like what the magic studies building is. The big rectangle building does have doors, and an interior. Which is essentially empty, because magic students are the only ones qualified to 'actually' enter the private dimension where their classes are held...

I've often wondered how I stick this many students IN the classrooms anyway, just ... there are sooo many. Now we know... heh.

And, before I twitch again, it's CARRAMBA, not carrUmba :) even though it's pronounced more like your spelling. :D

X3 All of these schools need to get together, like those embassador-things... it'd make transferring students so much easier!

Exactly. I would certainly say that anyone (Yakima :) ) who would like to get in on a slice of a nexus-entry for Carramba is welcome to it. I mean, I've stolen instructors from you, obviously it'd be good if they could... get BACK... lol!

Now this means I have to look over where I'll be PUTTING a more official opening/entrance, the magic building might work, since it's already 'there'. They do like to keep a balance of magic and tech, at Carramba, so there'll be teleport pads among the mystic portals... And yes expect me to liberally steal city of heroes images for those... ;p

Well, I would expect similar to the Ambassador exchanges.... (HINT) I'll manufacture some maps. If you see a teacher on the Carramba list that you'd want to have do a class or two at your schools, just say so, or suggest one from wherever I have characters. ((A side note: I want to keep calling them toons, since I play city of heroes so much...))

Your instructors and their classes would certainly be added to the roster and randomizer. Which by the way I've been working on a bit more. I still need to tweak one bit of it, the "mixed parentage" part, but largely it's a bit more 'done' than before. When it was 'done' then. lol.

Well, since there are no knives and no 'gun fu' yet... :) The powers are 'heroic' stuff like fire blasts and rock armor and superspeed. :) COH is available on ebay dirt cheap right now... i'm tempted to buy a second account but that's insane.

Anyway that's where I get a lot of image backgrounds, so... heh. it's a cool character designer too, one of my coworkers largely uses it for just that.

Heh, and what if I mention the Island Academy I've got set up but not done anything with? Training the masses (wait, yakknow, they were actually all going to bond Hathian or Hathian Hybrid... Duurrr) to fight the 3vil that is spam. =)

Oh don't worry, the chemistry department has heavily shielded walls and unbreakable windows. AND really good ventilation/purification machinery... HEH! Did I say machinery, I meant 'spells'. :D

Absolutely!! Eventually I'll have to actually re-do the campus map, I've kinda been treating the music department well with new classes, and the dragon area hasn't been included (because it's on the side where the track is, and that's off the main map anyway).

'Dysfunctional Ceramics'... lol. ... Wonder who I should have instruct this class... heh. And what *else* they might teach.

I wouldn't suggest the delicate art of massage. XD If they press so hard at the wheel that their pot implodes, I wouldn't want them anywhere near my knotty muscles!

ROFL! That's the adult night-course. :D *snicker* I'd worry about having Teh Dray in there with the student body... carapaces lol...

Ooh speaking of which I should have an actual dragon-combat course. That'd be very popular as a spectator course.
