It had been a long two years, but the hybrid pups were finally ready to go to their bonders. Thoroughly inspected and interviewed by the protective mothers, six Potentials had been selected out of the many who had shown up, and today was the day they would be bonded to the pups.
Mesmis'alza Salha nudged her Soca down the hall in the bonding building at Kenist Miana. The pup bounded ahead of his mother, pausing at a mirror that was set into the wall, grooming a paw briefly with his cat-like tongue before continuing on.
It had been a trying time, dealing with the disapproval of most of the Kenist Miana Enkeyn while trying to raise a dependant and demanding pup. Mesmis'alza and the other mothers of the hybrids had to put up with lectures, scorn, and had been practically ostrasized from the Enkeyn community.
That was, until the pups were old enough to be presented to the outside world. None of the Enkeyn had been able to resist the sweet and energetic pups, not altogether too different from the typical Enkeyn. Some had special abilities that no Enkeyn had ever had before, but these were taken in stride along with the pups' more-or-less sunny personality.
And now - acceptance. The pups and their mothers were treated normally in the Enkeyn society now, and the pups were mostly not any different from normal Enkeyn pups. They would be spending much time in the creche with the other fullbred pups, receiving the same teaching and care, and would one day be treated just as any other Enkeyn in the overall society.
Mesmis'alza couldn't help but fluff her feathers smugly as they drew closer to the bonding room, knowing that her plan to bring fresh blood and new talents to the Enkeyn gene pool had succeeded.

Congrats to Rain Storm, Thyravon Vraanabotha, Posey, Shyan, Aure Sarelle, and Lir-fi! You have all bonded a round 3 pup ^__^
These pups are all now two years of age. They are no longer nursing, and all now eat simple solid foods (meat!). Mentally, they are about equivilent to a 5-year old child, fully capable of speaking and reasoning. Though they're hybrids, they still act as any typical Enkeyn, having been raised exclusively by their pureblood mothers.
You have two weeks to get the pups up on their respective pages. Not sure when they will grow to adults, but hopefully it will be soon after ^_^; Their personalities will also become more developed with adulthood, and magical abilities can develop further.

Personality: Soca tends to be rather vain, one of those types who need to stop at every reflective surface for a rather extended period of time. He's rather ashamed at his lack of wings, as both of his parents have them (curse those hidden genes), and has a hobby of making creative plans for flying without wings. So far, none of these plans have worked exactly like he wanted them to, and Soca has received more than one bruise and scrape as a result.
Notes: Soca inherited a talen from his sire, the ability to produce a blue flame. This uses energy from his aura, and can only be sustained for a couple of hours.

Personality: Elcha'orene is curious to an extreme, constantly asking "Why?" and "How?" and "When?" He won't leave well enough alone, and has gotten into trouble on more than one occasion for poking his snout somewhere that it didn't belong. Elcha'orene tries to be charming, especially when he's gotten himself into trouble, but often comes across as arrogant and condescending. Seems like he needs a little more practice in the fine art of smooth-talking.
Notes: At the moment, Elcha'orene does not appear to have any non-Enkeyn magical talents, like those of his father. This could change when he is older, however.

Personality: Ser'erlin is a great lover of song, and seems to be constantly in motion, as if forever dancing. She has perfect pitch and great creativity, often crafting little ditties to amuse herself. This can become slightly irritating after it has gone on for several hours.
Notes: Despite her green eyes, Ser'erlin does not have an Ability. She does, however, seem to have the ability to teleport. At the moment she can only teleport short distances, and seems to have an innate ability to know where a good place to teleport to is (ie, not into a wall or into someone else). Her range will probably increase as she grows older.

Personality: Seraler'sersa gives the impression of innocent cuteness, but is in reality a kleptomaniac with a tendency to lie. If caught, she will put on the sweetest expression that she can. Seraler'sersa is particularly fond of bright and shiny things, and is going to need a very strong bonder to keep her out of trouble.
Notes: Seraler'sersa is able to make her aura visible to regular sight by manifesting it as heat and light. She is able to do this for several hours a day continuously, and can summon and banish this ability at will.

Personality: Anor-mar is rather bossy, and always likes to be the leader. When he doesn't get his way he tends to sulk and needs to be by himself for a while. Anor-mar is also fond of collecting rocks.
Notes: Anor-mar seems to have inherited his father's spike wings. Despite his red eyes, he does not posess the Fire Ability. However, he inherited his father's ability to teleport short distances and project illusions.
