White Dragon Secret Giveaway

The White Dragon Secret Giveaway nearing completion--no new submissions are allowed at this point, and only those who are on the participation list will recieve dragons!

Shortly I will put a call out for everyone to pick a number between 1 and 21; at which point I will post a link to the final results, and everyone can see which dragons (there will be anywhere from 4-6 dragons per package) they've recieved.

There are no restrictions on any of these dragons, flight or frenzy-wise, but please try to stick to the information that was given with them.

There will be no official due-date for putting your dragons up--we've all recieved random dragons that didn't suit our fancy before--so take as long as you wish to page them.

I may ask for links to their pages at a later date; please check back to this thread for more details, as they arrive.

Yep, just post an image up here... I'll gather them all into a super-secret handbag, and then everyone will pick numbers, and get dragons based on what number they picked! No more hastle then that! ^_^

Oh, they don't have to be white at all! XD The 'white' comes from the original idea: "white elephant". XDD Throw whatever colours and/or patterns on it that you want! ^_^

Nope! If you have pre-finished templates, feel free to submit those! ^_^ Anything's fair game, so long as the people recieving them can do with them what they like!

Doesn't "white elephant" mean something of doubtful or limited value? Also " an endeavor that proves to be a conspicuous failure"? XD There's an optimistic name for a giveaway-kind-of-thing.

I think I get the concept, though, and I'm intrigued. X3 Will hafta colour up some things when I get home to all my templates.

nah, I'd still name it what it is now. It's a fun name as much as an evil one.

What about really pretty, like, dragon portraits? Like... Head and neck, mebby sholders, too? Because- well- I went through a phase of "homigawd, I totally suck at legs" and drew a ton of dragon heads. (still going through it, too.) Or- little doodles? A page from a sketchbook? How nice/finished do they have to be? What's the deadline?

I'd send in some nice finished dragons, too, but- yeah.

o_O" Uh... probably not portraits, simply because that doesn't give people a very good idea of what they're getting... There's no due date as yet, but I'd give it about three weeks before closing, in which time everyone can submit as many dragons as they like. ^^; I'd expect typical template-style quality, though if you want to go above and beyond and do an entirely new dragon for this exchange, you're more then welcome to!

I'll announce a submission deadline later on, when images begin to come in. For now it's open till whenever!

Just a note: I won't be adding anyone to the first-post list until they've submitted images.

And, since there appears to be a lot of interest, I'm going to put a deadline to this thing: 2 weeks! On November 20th, if you don't have an image submitted, you won't be elligible for the exchange!

Clarifying about what you can and can't submit: You may use templates of any colour, or you may submit newly-drawn images. Your images must not come with restrictions ("May only breed with such a species", or "must have permissions to breed"), though you can add little notes to your submitted dragons, like names, abilities, and whatnot. Your images don't have to be white; only if you want them to be! You don't have to submit more then one dragon to participate, but the more the merrier!

I think that that's everything, resummarized. Have I missed any questions?

Would I be allowed to submit a Samanayr or two, or are those considered too small/not enough time and effort put into them? I'd make them cool ones.. ^_^;
