To death, actually.

Let me explain....

A few years ago, while I was working at the comic store, we would have auctions. We had this big piece of uncut-sheet trading cards, cool chromium ones from Topps that were of Jack Kirby's new comic line characters (which never really made it off the ground, topps should have stuck to cards). Well, no one was bidding on these things. This was at a time when Jack was quite old, and I made the mistake of saying, "come on people, Kirby's like 76 years old and he's got cancer, he's not long for the world."

AND HE WAS DEAD that night. I swear ta god. Sunday morning he was dead, the auction was saturday. I never quite lived that down.

THEN, like 3 days ago? I made a character in the city of villains beta. Named Jolly Green P Shutr, thinking like, jolly green giant is funny and they've got plant powers now. So.

The voice of the freakin jolly green giant is dead today. WTF? I don't understand...

I just should NEVER mention ANYONE again. EVAR.

Oh, that's the other thing I do, I ..... tend to break up couples when I make them as elves. *cough*

To be fair, most of the people that this happened to was while they were in high school or fresh out? So relationships *tend* not to stick around too long then? But... still...

I was actually thinking about trying to use it to break up one of my old coworkers with his hideous woman-thing-creature. *we all hated her so much*....

*wanders in, reads and patpats* Don't feel bad. I do that to communities. If I become like one of the staffers, *POOF!* like a month later there's a huge slucking noise as the ship sinks like some Titanic Wannabe. It's happened to... *counts on claws* Five... No wait! Six communities I was involved with. They'd been strong and hardy up until some goose decided I should be rewarded for all my loyalty with a staff job. Then it's like they injected arsenic straight into the bloodstream of the things.
It's never that I Tried to screw up or even that I do, it just sorta... Happens.

So yeah... <<; Don't make me a mod or anything even remotely even close to even a lowly janitor.
But I'm great for small businesses! I walk in the door and twenty more people suddenly decide they Have to shop there with in seconds. >>;

Some of my old friends used to call me the golden pearl... Because I was good for business but not if they got greedy.
