I'll give a prize to the first person who can name all the metals used. =) That includes the wings, though which are not metals in and of themself, have something to do with them!

Answering just because I like puzzles and mindteasers. XD Let's say... gold, silver, platinum, cobalt (I know you like that one)... might be a touch of iron or steel there... and for the wings... rust and tarnish, maybe? X3

I'd say maybe add copper and pewter or nickel to the one's Phe said, but I'm not great with metals

but i don't care... =3 Sillll--- even if it's mettalic, that furry bit on the back/upper wings looks soooo soft...

Just to reiterate, then... what's been guessed (and I think confirmed so far):

1 Gold
2 Silver
3 Platinum
4 Cobalt
5 Iron
6 Steel
7 Rust/ferrous oxidation
8 Tarnish
9 Copper

And then, the missing two:
10 Copper-salt (sulfate/acetate/etc) oxidation on the wings... don't wear copper jewelry!!! hehe
11 Bronze (Looks like a few places, i.e. between the gold and silver)

I would have said brass... but that's usually more yellowish, whereas bronze is generally brownish or dark greenish(vaguely).

I also want to say I see zinc on the wing feathering, but that might just be the cobalt mixing a little and I'm looking too close at the shades XD

Silver, bronze, gold and white gold on the main body
Copper and iron/steel on the stripes
Rust and copper-tarnish on the wings?

I see...

Rust and Bronze Tarnish (Copper Tarnish is usually more of a blue-green, but Bronze Tarnish is a dark green) on the wings
Cobalt, Silver and Brass on the fur
Platinum, Gold, Bronze and Iron on the body
Copper and Lead on those little stripes

*counts* That's eleven.

Can't see steel anywhere, coz that's generally kinda silver. But iron is dark grey and lead is black (or is it the other way around?).

Phee has got it exactly right, but no one else has. >> You're making it too complex on yourself, they're all simple names. Though admittedly certain metals do look identical to each other, and some colors are a perception.

The wing color is /just/ tarnish and rust, FYI. Phee got 8/11 in the first post, and someone (I forget who) got one more.

Steel--body (note that I made it darker. Silver is almost white unless it's tarnished)
Iron--stripes (the slightly darker than body tone)
Copper--stripes
Gold--points
Platinum--points
Silver--floof (that light color that everyone keeps calling white-gold is silver)
Cobalt--floof (that blue)
Rust--wings
Tarnish--wings (it would be copper tarnish, as silver tarnish is black giving the 'antique' look)

Those nine have already been established.

*EDIT* Edited to say where every metal was so people would stop renaming the same ones as something else. =P

I'm guessing brass and bronze, in addition to those already established.

The shading is, BTW, absolutely beautiful; I love the stripes especially.

Glad you like, Angeoria. Because I plan to use the shading techniques a biiiiiit more, at least...when I have metallics.

And btw, congratulations! You win. XD Bronze on the points, brass is the yellow-gold on the wingfur! Now just have to figure out prizes!

D'OH! I know what I did! I thought you were calling the platinum white-gold and overlooked where you had it before! Sorry. ^^;; Oh well, you and Angeoria can both have a prize in addition to Phe. Sorry! ^^;;

*EDIT* For reference, I do platinum as kind of a white-gold color, instead of silver-blue. 0.o Silver-blue is cobalt. It's all about the perception. XD
