Okay, let's do it...

Post by caesiusdraco »

If Halloween passes this year w/o any frenzy, I'm going to be extremely sad. So, I'll do it, but I'd like it not to be gianormous.

So, right now, count this as an interest poll. Let me know if a Halloween frenzy's something you'd like to be involved in, and that gives me time to plot for space, amount of drawing and coloring time, and get up some pages.

I'd like to as a cut-off, accept 25 pairs of dragons. You don't have to send them as pairs, but 25 of each gender would be the max. And from there, I'd like the cut-off for dragons to be 50.

If you'd like an offspring based on your dragon, please draw one and send one in before or after the flight. Otherwise, I'd reserve the right to bring forth whatever horrible monstrosities I see fit out of those eggs.

If anyone would like to help me color, that would be super. Please let me know.

So, again, post if you're interested, and I'll start slinging this thing together. I'd like the flight to run by the 14th, and cut-off for bonders would be the 30th. It's kinda short notice, but it doesn't make much sense to be running a Halloween Frenzy into December.

I said I'd go ahead and do a Halloween Frenzy in the other thread; maybe you didn't see it. :/ Myr also said she'd do the images if someone would run the Frenzy. It's nonsensical for us to run more than one, and I've never run a Frenzy before, and I'd kinda like the experience. XD I'm not sure if you're interested in working together or whatnot, but I thought I'd check with ya before I did anything. :}

I'll definitely want to try. Though you might drop the number of eggs down, just to save you the hassle of then figuring out bondings for them all. :)

And yeah like Lakota said, she's working on it already, maybe each of you could take a portion of the duties. :D

Oh. Ha! Just kidding.

This would've been my first too, so I was all geeked. Damn. XD

We could work together if you wanted. There're some images I wouldn't mind getting out there.

Or I could just do the pages or something if you wanted. I found some really cute Halloween clip art and all that.

I can color....maybe I could do something different/sillier for this Halloween thing. *sighs at her own so-called Halloween Event that does nothing with Halloween at all (well, not technically)*

Like I said, Rachel and I are working on something, hoping to get it done this weekend so people can send dragons--we're just trying to figure out the story idea reason FOR the Frenzy. ^.^

Hmm... Halloween frenzy.

Well, there is the historical origins of Halloween. An interesting article (with appropriately gaudy site layout ^_^) can be found here:

http://wilstar.com/holidays/hallown.htm

You could have the spirits of the recently deceased possessing the draconic "founders" of the frenzy. Perhaps they could want children of their own, or maybe the afterlife they dwell in is a barren, lackluster place, and they want some action... however you want to define action. ^^;

Offers Mystic a little ACME umbrella (a la wile e coyote) to avoid the brickage.

Then again, i don't GET a vacation.... I gotta WORK... forever. Chained to my desks and pushed into making elves (yes I'm still working on em) and rolling up alabaster/blackstone riders... Putting up flights and candidates and bonds.... never a break. :D

Well, We're getting a fall break later this month, but I'm not sure if I'll get the full time off. Didn't for Labor Day, and that's a paid holiday (got a nice check though)

I work too, y'know. And washing pans is not an easy job.

I... am a college dropout at the moment. A pathetic, loser bum. *blushes* All my time is spent staring at a computer screen and being desperate to go places with my roommates. Some may call it eternal vacation, but man, is it ever boring. Nothing to do. x.x

I need a job. Stupid anxiety problems. *kicks a random can in the road*

Hooooo, wait? Myr, you and Rach are doing a Frenzy too? x_x Caesius and I were just discussing the Frenzy we were going to do, jointedly... I don't want you guys to not do yours, but I'm concerned that there won't be enough dragons/candidates for two Halloween Frenzies. Anyone have any solutions? Anyone opposed to the four of us somehow combining efforts into one Frenzy? XD if there's four of us working on it, it can probably be more complex than just a one- or two-person-run one would be.

and now I am babbling :x I apologize if I sound snitty at all, I don't mean to be, and I'm not trying to say "nooo you can't do a Frenzy 'cuz WE are" XD I just don't yet know all the rules n such :3

Actually they "had" it first in another thread. :)

I personally wouldn't mind having two - though I would say if more than one comes out, keep the eggs down in quantity so we don't wind up having a difficult time rounding up candidates for them both.
