It's the first of October... five years ago, Quachir and I were already in deep discussion about the first ever Flurry. We plotted out the Flight on Halloween Night, and I spent the entire month of November coloring dragons. (Thank heavens I hadn't heard of NaNoWriMo yet! Hehe.)

So here we are again. I've got some ideas in my head, and I'm fairly sure we all want to see this happen for the fifth time. I'll need to talk to the writers of Koiri and Niteo again (my brain is once again riddled with more holes than swiss cheese) and see where they'd like to see things go.

But one thing stays the same -- white and nearly-white dragons. The flight list is not opening yet, but if you have some queens and studs that fit the general Flurriness of the thing, please put their names and links below. Consider it pre-screening. If you're uncertain about whether or not they fit, then just hang on until I get things fully in order. Very Happy

Exceptions have been made in the past for the White(s) who "call" the Flurry flight. Even Oroth (The originating white) had her non-white mate sneak in.

Interesting tidbit -- all the Whites I've ever hatched can trace their lineage back to Talor Cliff Weyr. Just thought y'd like to know.

They can also all, except the duowing as I don't know her lineage and Neva' who was the original, trace their heritage back to Dulath. >.>

Awesome. Very very awesome. Do you have any further requests like keeping out prior years' fliers like you've done in the past? (Which I do think is a good idea still, because it urges us to actually use NEW ones...) Oh that ... reminds me I ought to send out some more Alabaster dragons.

A significant number of dragons around still, dark and light, can say that. In fact, Dulath is also the progenitor of the Lians. That little girl gets busy, I tell ya...

Dulath has undeads, feathereds, hy-dragons, gemstone dragons, gemstone mini dragons, bipeds, Flurry Whites, and a number of other descendants...Dulath is the "original Selamputo"

Unfortunately she never had a surname!

:: rummages around :: You know, I don't really have a lot of dragons that fit the bill for white or light-colored. Not who would actually do a frenzy, anyway. Frux ain't doing it again, that's for sure XD He's had enough of having to watch his kids walk away from him.

I could send Shishayair, but I'm definitely sending him to AD first... and besides, he's even more "evil" than Iadur : P Or I could send Mossei. He's not evil and he's definitely white. I could prolly get away with Wiro, but she's not very exciting to draw XD

Well, I'll look forward to seeing more specifics-- and seeing if I can fit any other possibilities in there XD

Yes, I'll be sending those Geperna who will be writing stories and sending adults out to fly, before a deadline if it would miss the Flurry.

My total is up to 3 right now including a giveaway Old blood Geperna from before the HD hatching.

All three never flown, I'm proud of that. Ty you sure know how to get us all riled up.

That reminds me... I need to find out who else is descending from the Selamputo line. o_o' I think there's been a few more clutches hatched that come from one or the other, and I haven't been keeping up. D'oh!

Wind (white) Sulnath
White-furred Lavender-Green Yingith

And my only other part-white is my White Phantom, but I'll be damned if I'm sending him-- or any other Phantom-- out a-breeding. XD And I have a few pale silvers, if that's considered nearly-white. Otherwise, that's all I got. Dang.

Usually silver is included. Engel's Tehn is a silvered white, I sent a silver out to breed at one Flurry.

Guess I just expected to have more. XD Plus I'm a stickler for keeping my dragons to their personalities, and I think only one of those three would go a-Flurrying. More whites would mean more personalities to choose from. XD Maybe my silvers are better. ::tries to find them::

Well I've got Naviantan and Viaulysath -- Vi is a night white, and Navi's not white but he is a flurrier. Only thing is though if they mate it has to be to each other because their riders are together and all that jazz. Not sure if you want to use them but if you do here they are:
night white viaulysath and wild bronze brown naviantan

And here are a few others I found who are relatively white-ish
white with brass splotches Kaiae'Taykah ha, find a girl riding a male dragon for this one

Hmm, I don't have that many light/white dragons.
I could send in Tebiedanth (Lantessama Opel/white). His rider is terrified of dragons *snicker* I love torturing him

I do have Prisum Kirania, from the last Flurry. She may be kind'a big though.

I'd love to send my little lian Soyokaze, as well as Shkora, though he is neither white nor light colored but is who popped into my head when you mentioned christmas lights XD
