These dragons reside on the seafloor and prefer to hang around hydrothermal vents. Their preferred temperature is around 106-121 degrees C, though they can survive in temperatures hotter than 130 degrees. They can swim, but they prefer to walk or climb along the seafloor and feed on the sea animals that live around the vents (Mostly shrimp, squid, octopus, etc.), though they can also, very occasionally, go after giant squids and sperm whales, though it can be dangerous for them to go after predators that large.
It produces large amounts of heat and smoke from its body, and it has chemicals that can also produce flames underwater. It may spend short amounts of time in shallower water, but it won't stay very long before diving back to deeper water. They are intelligent and display a wide range of personalities. They do not naturally bond.
Size: Between 25-45 feet long
