Schattarneki - Clutch/Mini Frenzy?
Okay I'm looking for anyone with a Schattarneki that they're intresting in breeding to post them here. Hybrids and Fullblood. My plan is if we have enough have two clutch. One for hybrids another for fullbloods. If we have enough full bloods and if someone wants to help color. We can have two full blood clutchs.
Okay last call for the Schattarneki clutch. I'm going to close this soon so please anyone who want in please submit formness. I'm only using my males/female because we're short. I wish I'd had more to pick from.

Um, I didn't submit my two (Zen-byr and Savii-lana) to this. I only showed them in that other thread for Dray and the BWR. I generally don't submit my dragons to frenzies. >_>; Could you remove them please? :x (I hadn't looked at this post when it first went up, being uninterested, otherwise I would have spoken up back in March!)
Ket is good to participate - I'm still going through my non-schatterneki dragons to see if anyone else wants to join in

Were you still looking for participants? I happened across this lovely, which I'd forgotten I had, in my server switch, Kisatahm-leidra: http://dracosinfernoweyr.freehostia.com ... fpkis.html
I've also got Sila-saph, my only pureblooded Schattarneki: http://www.geocities.com/diwpersonas/sfpsila.html
and her daughter Himah-aisi: http://dracosinfernoweyr.freehostia.com ... fphim.html

Oh hey! I also have one of those:

I know JKat has one here:
http://artdragon.mine.nu/~kat/aven/shenehmta.html
But I don't know if she's up for submitting it. XD
Good find, Kayla!
http://dracothrope.lmfao.org.uk/Bonds/SCD/trahmaisi.htm
And another, I can't remember if I gave that to you yet!
While I'm at it, the next two generations still appear to have the Schattar-wings:

Feel free to borrow if you want them, too. X3

Finished some purebred sketches, just thought I'd show 'em off.

Baby's are adorable... I went for "cute" but I think I got more "plotting your doom" than cute... cha think?

Females are supposed to be slender/sleek... I think I pulled that off alright. The left frontpaw needs to be lengthened, but I'll do that when I ink it, along with adding more "fuzziness" in.

Males are supposed to be muscular/powerful... to be frank, the male stuck his tongue out at me and refused to be drawn. This is the best of ten sketches, and I'm still not really satisfied with it. I might slim him down a bit in the process of inking, along with adding the fuzziness and the elbow-spikes that I forgot.

I don't see the doom-plotting in the baby, but the cute definitely came across! :D Awwww!
The musculature/anatomy on the female and male adult popped out in places as being not convincing -- the hind legs on the female seem to be made for a much taller creature than what the forelegs suggest (the back hind leg especially, though that might be because it's bent in such a way.) Her muscles where her wing joins her shoulder are huge, though muscles to anchor a wing don't necessarily work there, while her torso where her ribcage should be seems unrealistically slim. I can see how you were going for sleek, but I think some oomph in the chest would make her torso a little more believable. Her wings also seem to be straining backward currently, like she's trying to poke the eyes out of someone behind her but can't quite reach. XD Maybe putting just a little more slack in her wing arms and tines will help to relive that, or if you want to keep the tension, add an element of perspective to make it look like her wings are stretched out to either side of her body?
For the male, once you get the image into photoshop, I think you should size up the head roughly 1.5 to 1.75 times the size it currently is, as it looks too small for his muscular neck and body. Again, the muscles and proportions of the legs look a little unconvincing, especially where the forearms join the torso, and where the hocks of the hind legs jut hard up against his bum-meats. X3 It just seems a little too stiff and formal through the legs -- perhaps using a dog/wolf or cat/big cat (or horse, or cow, or whatever animal you want to base 'em off of!) as a reference would help to solidify his legs and make 'em look more like the powerhouse that you want him to be (elephent feet. Hee hee hee. XD) The bulk in his chest seems pushed all to the forward of his legs, which seems very off; typically quadrupedal animals have their legs situated over and to the front of their ribcages, not behind! Stream-lining his neck towards the base of his chest, and pushing his ribcage under his body will help to make him look more BUILT and HUGE, while also solving the anatomical error. His wingarms seem a little piddly compared to his back legs and even his wing-tines. Maybe sizing them up in photoshop (just the wing arms, leave the size of the tines the same!) will solve this. He seems like he needs a bigger wing-span to justify the idea that he's a muscle-man. If that's the case, he probably works those webbed bad boys out until there're veins popping, you know? :P The male's tail joins a little oddly right at the base, there. It seems odd that the line of the spine juts down suddenly while the base, composed of muscles, runs smoothly from the belly. I do like the curve of his tail (as well as the female's, though the male's is my favorite, especially with the forked tip. X3) though I just noticed that the ears seem to be attached a little oddly to their heads, as well. They don't seem to come from quite the same space from the males to the females heads.
I hope that wasn't taken as a lambasting -- since you showed off the sketches I wanted to get down everything that I noticed before you finalized things! :x I'm excited to see them coming along, and really, that baby is freaking adorable. XD Love the tail, love the expression, the bangs and ears and wing-spines. Maybe a little more care to the shape of the paws/wrists (as in the back wrist) but otherwise, perfect. :DD

*laughs* I don't mind -- something like this was honestly what I was going for when posting them. It's much harder to draw purebred variants of other people's dragons than to do mutts or your own things. Now that you've pointed some things out, I can see the trouble spots I need to fix in the process of inking.
Of course, since I'm doing digital inking, I'll toss up in-process things and see what you think about the changes. I'd like to make these guys as best I can.
