Possibly returning?

Post by Samber »

I know it's been a while, I'm not even sure how long, since I've been here. (Did I ever tell you guys I got married?) I was clearing out old bookmarks when I found I still had the link, and then I decided to try digging up my password and all.

I'm thinking that I would like to get back into writing, and dragons....I no longer have a working scanner so the art side of things is not really an option. I'm not working and I'm not in school at the moment, so I have plenty of free time. Certainly it would be nice to have something to do besides play WoW and blog.

I do realize, though, that my previous disappearances must have inconvenienced quite a few of you--I don't even remember how many dragons I never paged, and the stories I said I'd write. I don't even really remember the passwords for the photobucket accounts and sites I had anymore. :(

I guess what I'm saying is--I'd kind of like to start out fresh, and slow, and not take on more than I can handle or have to stress out over too much. Only if you guys will have me, though. If you guys would rather I not try to come back, that's fine, I think I'll be okay.

I've missed the craziness, though.

*yes!*

That'd be awesome! I know that a couple folks here have gone off and actually found mates and gotten a life, I'd like to see what that's like... >_> hehe.

Congratulations on getting married!

Well...a mate yes, a life not so much. We are both totally hooked on WoW and other nerdy pursuits, so.... XD

Warning, tons of pictures to follow! :)

D'aww, you two are so cute (I love those princess curls of yours), and what a lovely wedding it looks like you two had! I almost wish Andrew and I hadn't opted for a plainclothes courthouse marriage, just so I could have pretty pictures to share.

Seriously, we practically got married in jeans and t-shirts.

But congratulations on the marriage, and welcome to the mob of those stuck with the world's tiniest handcuffs. I got married myself a couple of months ago. Doesn't seem like much has changed for us though. *chuckles*

And of course we want to have you back! I'll personally miss your adorable dragons, but your stories were always a fun read. That, and it'll be good to have another activity to fill up the quiet hours.

Also, WoW does pull one in with the shiny and demands your brain cells and free will as payment. Especially if you watch the Trade channel. Sometimes I'm a little glad my laptop was nuked. *laughs*

Hehe, my mother in law has always wanted redheaded grandchildren, she just about jumped for joy when she saw my brothers and realized it was a possibility. :)

I've been playing around with some character ideas today, just not sure how to organize em yet. I've grown fond of doing all my writing on my blog, and I'm trying to figure out a way to make that work with characters and dragons and such. In the meantime, can anyone point me in the direction of a traditional-ish clutch to get my story juices flowing?

Check out Cy's Stardust Weyr! :D It just opened AND there's a queen egg on the sands. Just about perfect for traditional writing! (It's in the 'updates' section, btw!)

Congrats on the marriage! You two are adorable. XDD Now git offa WoW and git to more creative pursuits, youze~!
