Here's the Deal

First off Nyx sucks. I have tried and tried ever since I joined to start doing dragons, but I just can't seem to draw them. I used to be able to draw, but after years of not practicing, I have lost my touch. Let's just put it this way.. . .the pictures my four year olds are drawing look 100 x's better than the ones I am doing. So until I can get some done, I will be MIA. I will get URLs to those I owe them to as soon as I can. I am also moving so that would have me gone for a bit anyway. I hope one day I will be back with lots of pretties for everyone.

I'm starting to get really depressed at the total lack of response to stories (even atrocious ones) here, but there are a few of us left who don't produce images. Just because the drawing doesn't go well for you, you shouldn't have to feel like you have to leave.

I agree - the more you practice and get the instant-response from this kind of exposure (unless you don't like it) you can let us help by getting suggestions. Honestly, if there's something dreadfully wrong we'll say so - but actually I'm honored to have artists and writers *of any level* stick it out and come back.

I know you can draw.

I do write, but not much as of late. I think most of that is because of the move. We shall see what heppens when I get back fro moving and go from there. I will have *gasp* dial up after the move, so it way take me a bit to get reaquainted with the slowness and being pissed because it won't go NOW. Anyway, thanks guys.

With the way my broadband is acting, I am looking forward to dial up. My modem only stays on-line for about 20 minutes at a time right now, and I have no idea why.

Nyx, first off, you don't suck. No self-doubting or bashing yourself for any reason, as you don't deserve that. *snugs* Secondly, I've been in this community for 8 years without ever having produced a decent image (I don't draw... ever... *blush*) or a decent story. Even without art or stories, there's still the community to interact with, however stressed everyone seems to be becoming.

Now then, please don't go. We'll miss you. *snugs again*

OK, Friday the net goes and we start moving. I will be gone for a few weeks at max, and I have like 200 canidate ideas so I should have plenty for you guys when I get back, so I hope they will be needed.
