Treval Teaser for Clutch 1

This is the concept sketch for the air-fire cross that will be hatching in the current clutch on the sands. There are only five places in this clutch - I have room for three more. The fire style has changed. You can see what it would look like on a true fire dragon in the upper right corner. Feathers are the hard thing to see on the conecpt...I had a dull pencil...

This is lovely, Yakima - I love the delicacy of the head and the combination of fire and feathers. As someone who can't draw paws whatsoever, I'm also rather impressed by yours. *grins*

I really need to write up a bonder for one of these! ^^

The fin-like headcrest(?) looks a bit awkward, but the rest is awesome! ^_^ A nice cross, if I do say so myself! :3

Looks cute to me, if a little awkward in footing (but aren't all hatchlings--awkward in footing, I mean?)

Maybe lighten the eyebrow ridge-line a little? Right now it looks like it's kind of angry, which might be what's throwing it off?

You might try making the toes flatter, less....round at the top. Most creatures have their claws down so they meet the ground. Or cats, which have retractable claws, have smoother paws. ^_^;; Sorry, the paws always bug me.

I like my paws. I'm not going for realistic, I'm going for cartoonish...I can make them a bit flater but I'm not chaning much about them...

Yakima, maybe if you move the claw-position on each toe it'll give a similar effect to Sil's paw-flattening? O.o It'd still be cartoony and all!
