Up until recently, I used Jasc PSP. However, now I have Adobe Photoshop installed on my pc... is there anyway to bring the templates over from Jasc to Adobe?

I ask because I found a set of dragons from Kjanlieyr that I had apparently made up for a clutch... several sets, just waiting for bonds. I'm thinking about perhaps having someone or something have tampered with a set of eggs, or something similar. Anyone interested?

I don't know if there's a convenient way to change from PSP to Adobe format, but you can always re-create the templates (from lighter colored images) by selecting only the black outlines. If anybody here has PSP, they may be able to clear out the templates and give you black-and-white gifs of the outlines...

I just found the PSP CD, and reinstalled Jasc, so I have both systems to work with now!! As soon as I can find the texture I used to create these creatures... I'll post rules, story lines, etc.

Also, another question... does anyone know I can pull scanned images in without taking 3-4 days cleaning them up?

Give em to me? I can clean em if they're not really dirty in just an hour or so. I scan everything and clean up, it's habit

Shard... have a favor to ask.

Since I've destroyed Kjan Liyr Eyr... is there any way that the handful of people left (basically, anyone who is a dragonrider with a dragon from someone other than myself... I killed off just about everyone else, I think), is there any way there would be room somewhere in the Nexus for, say, approximately 20-25 people and 19 dragons? I need somewhere for my geneticist to get into trouble/filch eggs for this little clutch he's planning.

If so, then you're welcome to use any of my characters in any of the stories if you need them.

Ooh hell, if anything I have Carramba High School itself, which is also situated on a nexus point, *and* has more than enough room in its hyperdimensional buildings (or the Magic Studies hall) to support a population. Dorms, check. Lab supplies, check. Dragon field, check. Security, all kinds of check.

Um... from the page:

Bonders need to have one or more of the following qualities:

A strong personality

An ability that sets them apart from the rest of their peers, such as magic, vampirism, were-ism, faery-ism, or something of the like.

Candidates must be able to ride with their dragon, and if there are wings present, they must not get in the way of the dragon’s flight.

Candidates must not be evil, though mischievious, cunning, and a love of adventure is not only acceptable, but encouraged.

For this... I need to know how you got to the high school (as that's where I'm setting up the clutch, thanks to Shard!), and how the little flying creature got to you/chose you, since it's not a traditional search. (I have a few critters, looking at flits, gylphins (look like sphinxes with a bird face and wings, about the size of a house cat), or you can come up with how you received the invite. The page details what I'm looking at for the clutch, I think... but seriously, feel free to ask more questions as needed.

Um, for update: Analyn, Ton'loran, their dragons, and their little son she had at the end of the last clutch I had, Rai'arron (think that's his name) are dead, and the high school is a refuge while the remaining people and dragons (only about 25 or so remaining from the whole Eyr) are trying to figure out where to go, who's in charge, etc.

I'm glad to be inspiring something in someone. Hope you enjoy!!

I'm trying to draw up new dragon sketches, that I may trade back and forth between different clutches, don't know yet. But for now, using my old images... which, btw, probably suck with the shading... as I'm really not an artist, more of a writer, and my eye for shape and shading really is non-existant. The only reason the old dragons from Opal Moon used to look phenominal was because Xalia used to do all my shading for me.

@_@ Cool! Nothing like a catastrophe to shake things up around your agency and to roll in a new way of doing things! I'm loving the story possibilities behind this.

I'm tempted to see if I can make a school kid (since Shard has these awesome tools to go about making one, and I've always wanted to try) but at the same time... I think I have someone in mind who will fit into a far larger plot that has been on the brew for a while.

I've got a list of 'things to do for the Nexus' going right now, and as soon as I'm through with paging things with deadlines and honoring my own deadlines, I'll get straight to writing. This sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. :)

VERY cool... can't wait! Spent time working on stuff for the site yesterday... it feels so good to be dabbling in coding again, and to be writing and attempting to sketch!! I didn't know I was really missing it until I started it again!

I've got to drag in my sketchbook from the car (it had a permanent home there this weekend, as I had no inspiration to finish it up/wanted to code/write more than sketch), but should be able to get stuff that I want done when I want it done now, hopefully!!

Will also be finishing up the 5-6 pet creatures I apparently drew up in the beginning too!

If I were to send two candidates, could you pick one of them to bond, and I'll write up story to reflect how it feels for one to bond and one not to? :D I'd like to have the surprise of seeing who gets a dragon first!
