Baskar Castle - Hatching!

Baskar Castle is once again online with a new, fresh look and possibly new images on the way. If Baskar does open fully, I'll only have drakling and adult images to keep it simple for me.

I'll have the knights online soon. Still finishing stat pages.

I have a lot of things crosses out in the menu right now - including fairy draks and vulpas. I'll get them up once I have new images.

EDIT: cancel that...will argue with web site another night...*grrr*

URL's in the same format as the other subsites, so I'm willing to bet the page upload is either being slow or it terminated early.

No, my FTP thing isn't recongizing the subdomain so I'm going to leave it till tomarrow to get it up. I should have been in bed about 2 hours ago as is.

Okay, the site /is/ up but Firefox users aren't going to be able to read much because Firefox isn't liking my script. Grrr...Hard to read black on black....It will work in IE. *dreads having to put font color tabs in every cell* Urg...*cries*

LATER: have some info up for the Draks of Baskar. I am going by the site as much as possible but there were a lot of blanks so I'm filling them in. I also added the rare colors I came up with that I'll be using at Baskar. If you Icarus people have any tips or ideas - or what to fill me in on some of the blanks so far, please do so!

{this kinda refers to sizes, mostly...} Oh, and the info actually stops at the end of the Rare Chart - the rest is Pernese info....(can ya tell where I got the page code from...

Um...to anyone who might have recived a Drak from Baskar's first clutch, I think I named them wrong. *blink* I was looking over the info on the Icarus page and realized this. Kaydlt, for exsample, has parnets Breltar and Aydae (father and mother in order) so I think it should be Kaaear (which I don't like half as much as Kaydlt though her childern might be happier). Would you all be upset if I changed the names (as I know Drak names are pickier). I feel dumb. I ran that clucn eons ago and can't remember what was running through my mind!

I was wondering about that not too long ago...I wouldn't mind, I'd just have to go change it on a couple pages. Athtlna's name, I just realized, is wrong anyway, since the others are -ltna.

Well if you give us the list of the new changed names, I would certainly look for any I had, I can't recall what if any I might have gotten.

Okay. Well, the only other one I had from that Hatching was Shard (night 'koltna' is now mine as I haven't found the image on Liit'or's page - I hate mazes like that!). So, here are the corrections (don't worry, records will be changed, too.

)

Clutch One (changing parents, too, because there were far to many vowels to be pernouncable for her name...and I have the only drak from that clutch

)
fire Brenalt & forest Aysada = forest Kaydalt (not too different but looks/sounds better then Kaydlt.

)

Clutch Two: earth Malavor & wind Teskay
Taravsk = Taroray
Kavsk = Koray

Clutch Three: plant Galtar & ore Rynael
Tiraltna = Tirarel
Athltna = Atharel
Koltna = Koarel
Brenalt = Breelar

I'm also recording the hatching for that one as Missing as I don't like half of it and it's in the wrong context, anyway. It got lost during the War, lets just say.

And, when I have all things said and done for Baskar, it will be 9 years (they use years for Icarus, right...), after this hatching. Astol, Rheonyn, Rakale and Adnyeth are all dead (unless draks can continue living after the Paired dies...I can't find that info on the site...otherwise, I might keep them around or something....hmmm)...anyway...*runs off to eat*

Shard, you had night Taravsk (who is suppose to be Taroray).

That was the only one. I had a lot of NPC's for this Hatching...*sigh*

Just to let you all know, Baskar has new Fairy Drak Images. The Wind one is in my avatar at the moment...other wise, here is a Fire Fairy Drak for you to see it full size. I think this template is much cutier then the other one, which was too small...

If you want to see the rest of them, they're here, until I put the new Baskar up...yeah, I redid the site. I think this is a softer, calmer looking layout...you'll see soon enough.

Yep, they are. You can also request special ones, too. Like if you want an ore fairy drak with blue or green eyes other then gold or whatever I have. That type of thing. Really special ones, like a sunset, would be an FGPC request, though. Or a female Fire, stuff like that.

Oh yeah, I forgot that the types were constrained by gender. XD Too bad the fires aren't all female! Way snazzier that way!

Yeah, I know. I have at least one female Fire Drak at Baskar...and I have a male Moon and I have them as only female in the info page.

I went to the Icarus site only to find out that I had was still doing the naming thing wrong... I really don't want to go back and changed the first three...well, two, as one clutch had one drak and she's mine...clutches again...unless I change the parents names instead...*shrug* Even though that would make the parents' names sound funny...Brenalt to Brenada...heh...oh, what I mess I've made. *facedesk again*

Tada! And Baskar Castle makes is....er...3rd...*blink* reopening into the Nexus! Yeah, so it's kinda like the Baskar tradition to vanish, and come back, and vanish and come back...

I don't think I've finsihed all the pages but close to it. I will work on the rest of the stuff later...like the Genology.

Also, there is a clutch on the sands - a tiny little starter one of four eggs. Baskarian/Raidorian strains meaning some will have horns, some wont. You've seen the adults...and can see the long haired version on some of the castle residents pages, but you haven't seen the babies yet! *snerk*

Forms should be working though I forgot one option so when/if you fill one out, please tell me if the adult is a long or short version - or if you want both.

Also, about my previous post above about the clutch - the parents of that first clutch are not longer recorded. I have them 'missing' - so basicly when Baskar was trashed by Raidor castle ICly, those records were kind lost. Yeah, so that is my ala by...or however you spell that.

I think the deadline is the 25th for the hatchlings...it says the date on the pickup page.

Jaydas and Athar will be up next...but I really, really have to clean my room before I loose my mind soo...later.

Also, I assigned Knights for training. Not sure how other castles do this so correct me if I am wrong.
