Oh WoW, you all are really sweet. I didnt expect all the greetings. Well, I expected some sure.. but not so much I guess.

Yes. A two month old. Its hard work.. and it really makes me think about all the "stay at home mums" in the world. They really DO have the hardest job in the world!!! *giggle*

It came as quite the shock to some people when I mentioned taking up sketching again... they all wondered where I got the time. Im not telling them I just leave the housework for the day!! :P

Australia is pretty kewl. Ive met a lot of backpackers, especially since my partner is German. Everyone seems to love Oz. I dont really understand why, but most say its the wide open spaces and red dirt. Well, we DO have a lot of red dirt! Especially out here. The weather here is crazy too... like a desert. In summer it can reach almost 50C, a good day would be anything from 35-40 (lol) and at night it often only drops to 10C. In winter (the season we are in now) days are cold (not often wet but it has been lately) about 25C though usually less.. and nights are below 0 on occation. Doesnt snow here though!!!!

Everything in Australia is deadly... o.o

It is always a little strange for me to read friends statements like "it's winter now so I'm bundling up" because .... yeah it hit 70-something (f not c lol) here today, and is going to be Summer very soon! :D

And yet, sunny San Diego ca has a lot of the same terrain type as Oz, what with the imported eucalyptis trees and scrub desert and all.

We lack the terrifying array of poisonous animals, plants, reptiles and insects... whew.
