Small Format Images - Open

Hi guys.

I've got two and a half hours of work at the front desk and I forgot to bring down homework, so I was wondering if anybody would like some line work (I only have pens and pencils with me) in the size/format of an Artist Trading card (that's about 2.5" x 3.5")

I'm willing to do a character, so long as you give me leeway with it since this is going to be a "I'll do it if I feel up to it," sort of thing. I'll additionally do a dragon of your species, or a dragon of traits that you suggest...

I mostly just need something to do to keep me from punching idiot college kids in the head.

Are there any takers?

(If you have them, posting links to reference images are a help. :3)

(Also, I won't be able to mail you the actual image because I have no money right now. Just the scanned image to your computer.)

Uh, did I mention that you don't have to do squat in return for this? Like, it's an "I'm giving it to you", not an "I'm asking for art in return"...

Actually, you know what? Never mind. T_T" Ya leave for a month or two and when you get a chance to come back, it's like nobody cares that you're around. I feel like if I even bother, people aren't going to care. I just wanted to do something nice for people to get me out of a shit mood and sitting around, waiting to hear a peep from folks who pop in and out at constant without saying a word is like a special kind of bitchslap.

This community is so unhealthy that it's not even funny. Hrmph.

*headhang* I don't know why I've been taking everything as an insult, lately. x___x' I'm sorry. I'll refrain from posting anything in the Nexus when I'm feeling down, since I don't seem to have the brain-power devoted to thinking, "hmm, maybe this is a dumb thing to post. *reads* Yeah, that's going to be read and people are going to roll their eyes and shake their heads. *delete*"

Um, though I'll be busy for the next few days weeks, I'd still like to do something like this. Maybe not with specific characters (I really am not feeling competent enough to pull of distinguishing features at that size) but I'd like to try to take a crack at species or traits-thrown-together, if you're interested.

I'll let you guys know when I've next got some 'free' time. For now, thanks for the kind words and the taps on the back of the hand where they were given. (And Shard, Phe, your pictures are great. X3 I love you guys.)

At first I was kind of angry but hey - I've had very bad days (recently too) and it's sometimes hard to remember that you might just need a cheer up, instead of a letdown.

*pats Dray* It happens to me a lot and I get descuraged (can't spell today) when I don't get replies right away but I usually let is sit for a day or two before I decide anything. Though I usually only get a few replies latley so you're doing fine.

My new work schedule has me NOT wanting to do anything Nexus-wise latley. 5 am to 1 pm can be pretty blah some days.

Good luck with the trading card thing...*wanders off to clean room and work on Phe's anthro-Oscar who isn't cooperating very well...grrrr.

Heh, I'm so late I didn't even see the first post completely. ^^; Vacation-time, stuff is happening, and I've been so busy i only log on to check my pm's and write down the topics of anything I need to check when I get home.

In any case *nuzzles again* If you'd like to, I'd like to see your take on the Alevaharin or the Alaiskya ^.^ The Myrsilk are too detailed to really do small unless you just do a headshot of one, but the other two don't have complicated markings usually.

*hugs Dray* School sucks. It's a universal truth.

When I'm done exams and not breaking down about being unable to get my degree, I'll be able to look more closely at what's going on here and get active again. I really do miss this place. I just don't have time anymore.
