... Seriously. I don't. Even less than everyone else on here (or at least it feels like it).
What else do you call it when you grow so LAZY with building tables of dragons (ala tables on this page and this page) that you go, use what little programming knowledge you have (one semester of Java, of all languages!), and write a crude program to write the bloody tables for you! It's not even a program that can be installed or stand alone, because I don't know how to do that yet! The only way to run it is through the command prompt or the actual java editor itself!
And spend over twenty hours doing it. And break your brain so badly that you're actually looking forward putzing around in the mall with your grandmother, for the express purpose of (in my grandmother's words) "Getting run over by baby carriages and bumped into by shopping carts, because that's what Christmas shopping is all about."
And do it so badly that you swear you'll never write something like it again, only to begin immediately planning what sort of other information can become automated by way of program. I'm currently drawing a blank though, so my brain might be safe for a while longer.
And start dancing around the room in joy as soon as you finish, because "OMG, GLEEEEEEEEE! IT WORKS! IT WWOOOOORRRKKKKSSS!!!!"
... And promptly run to the only place where people might even remotely care, to post in second person, while still gleeing internally because mom's asleep and has to get up in four hours for work, and with the knowledge that it's going to be a llooonnnggg time before you can get to sleep.
... I'mma shut up now ^_^ End my random post of glee-ness to no purpose. Gods I have no life.
EDIT: And then, when you calm down enough to think rationally, you realize that this removes the only obstical in your way, meaning that you actually have to start sorting through all those bloody pages to get the right information and enter it into your new databases. And you promptly curse the world and wonder if there's a way to automate that process as well...
