Yeah, i think I started the second...amazingly, I'm just under a shy of 19K... Now that is a shock on my part. Gotta admit that last year I was writting the boring part of my Rerir novel...now I'm getting into the nice juciy stufff. I think I kinda skipped a head a bit and I will eventually need to go back and change things in the draft from last year but that's how writting goes.

But, yes, good luck to all the others out there. *Lets Segs do a short pom-pom dance before going to bed*

I've got about 14k so far but this month is ... busy. To put it lightly. I have doubts currently on whether or not I will finish but I'll do my best :)

Third year and I'm breaking all personal records - 17k thus far, though I have a feeling my lead will only last so long...

Good luck to everyone else! :D

Up at 5 and 34k words later.
All through the day, I had this little nagging memory replaying nonstop; so I thought it only proper to relink back to it.

Haha the same thing happened to me, but with linear algebra. I did end up studying, but the test was uberhard and I ended up getting a 0. I wish I were joking. My prof doesn't believe in partial credit. Fortunately he's merciful enough that he drops our lowest test score  And I'm probably going to drop engineering anyway so linear algebra won't count for much but still ... ouch. And I'm so behind on my data structures assignments its not even funny. Aaaand right as I speak I have a killer hangover due to the fact that my 21st birthday was recently and we all decided to go out last night. Yes yes I know, bad Astra, but I'd never been inside a bar before  Urrgh. So how much time have I had to write NaNo? Not very.

Oi, my calc 2 prof was like that. I'm okay with math, even like it a bit. But then again I have too, I'm asian.

But I HATE chemistry, with a passion. The same passion that Oprah has for hor'dourves (sp).

I've accepted the fact that there are not enough hours in the day for me to do what I want, especially when I have so many people clamouring for my attention. (Augh, when and where and why did I become popular? Much less accessible?)

But as for schooling, I've mostly conceeded the fact that - writer and artist I may be, interested in English and Art I am not. I'm taking creative writing next semester and never touching an English class again in my life. I'm just glad I get to skip an entire year of English, it makes my life so much easier.

Programming and Calc all the way. At least I understand those subjects. Physics is cool too. Heck, most science is. But don't get me started on all the ways I want to stab English to death, it's a bad idea.

*is a Comp Engineer, can you tell? *

Heh, the only thing NaNo is 'interupting' is the slideshow of a friend's wedding I'm working on, the portraits of us 'kids' that I need to get working on, and...oh yeah, drawing the remaining Frenzy templates and finishing that....*pokes sketchpad that has two people started instead of dragons* I blame anime for giving me a kick to try people again...

Image
See...yeah...my piorities are kinda out of it right now...*sighs and smacks Fullmetal Alchemist for being entertaining and begging to be watched*

But sleeping, eating, working, studying, doing projects, covering for others in my groups, fretting over my grade, reading, biking, hoppscotching, panning for gold, spelunking, tasteing random things, listening to music, chasing squirrels, contemplating way to destroy the world, taking tests, going to the doctor's, saving the world, winning things, cleaning up my house, catnapping, picking my nails, wrting, yawning, being lazy, daydreaming, writing long winded-pointless-to-a-point-paragraphs-that-have-nothing-to-do-with-antything-ever-but-will-just-look-really-long-when-someone-reads-it, basejumping, hangliding, parasailing, yatch racing, setting world records, sewing, cooking, dusting, thinking of things to fill this paragraph in with, sticking my tongue into sockets, making plasma in the microwave, answering the fire department at mydoor, putting out the microwave, scratching, sneezing, showering, and wasting air is all I do!

All these things need to be done and I can't drop a single one!

I didn't make it, not even halfway to where I'd got last year, which was... halfway. November sucked for me. I'm writing *now*, but just not last month. :/

Yeah. I gave up at around 15k words, started a new novel, and got about 15k words into *that*. So I guess all telling I still lost, making it to about 30k :-/

But if its any consolation, I'm inspired to write *now*. I always am, in December, for some reason.

Yup, join the club. I'm overflowing with stuff. Even my dream journal - today I wrote over half a page just describing the dream from right before I woke up...
