Gone for a few days

I'm spending a couple days in Edinburgh, between tomorrow and Saturday. I don't think I have anything outstanding, but if I do, please don't abandon anything. I'll be back soon.

Capital of Scotland. Just going to hang around up there and see the sights for a couple days, then fly home again. Early Christmas present from my parents.

Shoulda announced this yesterday, really. But I be back.

Edinburgh was fun, but tiring. Saw some cool stuff. Bought some swords, which we had to get shipped home because we couldn't take them on the plane. Ultimately, cities are nice to see but I definitely wouldn't want to live in one. Too noisy and crowded. And expensive.

Also decided that next time we think about going to Scotland, we're driving. Ten hours hauling up the motorway is better than what you go through at the airport these days....
