Only weird thing I notice is the way the tail is only furry on the underside--looks kinda chewed. Maybe have the furryness going along the tail instead of down?
lol! Adorable! It looks so bottom heavy, I can see that poor guy flopping around quite a bit before its wings are strong enough to stand up. That's not a crit, I don't think the image should change at all.
aww, thanks you guys for your lovely comments! ^_^
Samber - i thought about that too, coz it looked funny to me as well, but i figured gravity would make it go downwards like that, rather than floofing out along the tail.
My only tiny suggestion would be to put a line from the top left corner of the folded-back ear, curving towards the eartip, because I had to look at it for a bit before I realized how it was positioned XD
I can make a quick redline if ya want :}
That's just a little nitpick though - overall I LOVE it! The position is really neat and I love how it's all-over furry :3
Letting the days go by - Let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by - Water flowing underground
Into the blue again - After the money's gone
Once in a lifetime - Water flowing underground
There probably should be a bit more fluff along the top of the tail, but not much, it's almost fine the way it is in my eyes.
Anyway--I LOVE it! XD So very, very cute. Nice perspective and it really LOOKS like a baby with the big paws and large head in relation to its body. XD Just...darling. Doesn't look bottom-heavy or anything to me, just gangly like young things should be.

iffin you want to redline, please do, coz i'm a tad confused... @_@;;
i tried the kangaroo-rat fluff thing... but it came out lookin wierd... ^.^;;
i'm not feeling AS confident about the pose or the anatomy of this one at all, so i just did a sketchline version instead of pen-lining it... any suggestions/comments/whatever?
What about opening the hind feet a little, so you can see more of the webbing (that I assume they have)? I think it's very clever and extremely cute. What sorts of patterns will these have I wonder?
^_^ Nifty! Maybe make the wings slightly more streamlined, more like fins? Maybe make the tines seem less pronounced, like the webbing is more fleshier... might help the appearance of finny wings a little!
for the wings i was thinking the webbing would actually be somewhat thinner... like jellyfish are all clear? like that, kinda. they have to retain most of their shape, because they're amphibious, so they do venture on land every so often. but fleshier might work too... hmm... i was aiming for the wings to be smaller, but i guess it didn't come across quite right. ^^;
