Post by Rachael »

Just a curiousity check:

Would anyone be willing to send people out to partner these guys?

Rough coloring to give an estimate on appearance. :D

*grins* I have a feeling most of these guys will not be so intent on "bonding" as finding homes. Hence - sponsors.

Heh, you try to eat it, you might lose things to that beak. *winks*

Score! Interest!

Haha, you made a Draco sternbergi! ::amused:: Not one of my favorite types of pterosaurs, though, so I'd probably pass.

Yeah I think so - are they fighting beasties or flocking ones or what? Details! :) I think a Zekiran dragonmaster would have fun with a couple of those.

Flocking, in tight-knit family groups. Highly intelligent, but no more able to speak a human tongue than any animal we know. They imprint at birth from eggs - two to five in a given nest. They are seasonal mates, though older ones tend to form life-mates. They are able to reject a rider under extrenuating circumstances, but if it is forced mental breakdown is emminent.

Telepaths who learn to speak on a subconscious level can communicate - those with talent in animal-speech have no trouble speaking with them.

Over time they have learned a specialized alphabet to communicate directly with the beings around them. Their beaks can be outfitted with specialized pens with a non-toxic ink. Their precision with beak-movement is so great, they can ledgibly write - and they are able to focus at this distance, though for long periods of time gives them headaches (and can cause a degree of near-sightedness).

They dislike flying at night, and come from a world where large portions are sea-bound, and know how to handle storm-weather air exceedingly well.

There is more, but my brain just died. <3

Oooh, ones that can cover SEA and AIR. :) Neat. Definitely count me in. The Dragon masters have specialized powers geared toward animal and dragon instead of human (zekiran) things. They'd work nicely.
