Couple of iffy days

I will be moving this weekend, from California to Texas. I shouldn't be away from the net too long, I don't think, but I wanted to leave a note here. I've been busy with packing and such, so if I'm behind in paging some of my lovelies, that is the main reason.

I should be back to full net access by Monday, maybe Tuesday, so if any deadlines pop up before then, please let me know here, preferably before tomorrow afternoon, and I'll try to get them up before I leave. Or possibly grant me an extension to get them up as soon as I get there, as I will have two weeks off after arriving, which will allow me to catch up!

Yeah, I know. Personally, I hate Texas... well, hate might be a bit strong, but I really didn't like Houston much at all. We'll see if San Antonio is any better. I only have to be there for 3 years; my husband and I haven't decided where we want to settle yet, but for now, work requires our presence in Texas.....yay

At least I'll know what to expect from the weather, though. Monterey is starting to weird me out. Last week, Thursday was warm enough for me to go out in a sleeveless (bad idea after over a year of no sun!) shirt and get sunburnt, Friday I couldn't leave my room without a sweatshirt! And this week has been I think the warmest full week in the three years I've been here!
