Summer...break?

Post by Asha Wermyst »

Greetings.
My parents yesterday suprised me with a new rule for the summer, which is I can't get on the computer except for weekends, maybe. If you need to contact me, you can email or PM me. I'll try to get on weekends.
This does mean Blue Mountain Aurie is closing for now.

Sorry. As if even half of you really care, but...

Someone electric shock me when the Flurry and Ailleth's Starburst cluch hatches, so I can get my dragons up.

:\ How lame is that? *pokes your parents in the brain*

Good luck with getting some comp-time, Asha! In the meantime, I hope that there's some other fun stuff that you can do over the summer!

You could always give them the silent treatment until they give you what you want? If you have to speak to them, be monosyllabic. Always used to work for me, years ago. My dad would give in within a couple days.

Heh. I think actually it would be better if you just did what your parents wanted, Asha. If you can show them you can follow their mandates, no matter how horrible, and not complain or be bratty or give them the cold shoulder, hopefully they will lighten up ^__^ after all, it IS summer! Remind them that they were young once too, that'll help :D

lol yeah right! In THEIR day, (probably they're my age remember?) they had to walk SIXTEEN MILES ... UPHILL! in the BURNING heat of summer to get to summer school, and the LIKED IT.

GET OFF MY LAWN!

lol! :) I totally hope they drop to 'okay an hour in the evenings'. I mean, I'm taking summer kind of 'off' myself, it's such a blessing to be able to tell the difference between the seasons instead of getting stuck in work 100% of the time.

Silent treatment doesn't work.

Neither does attempting to break an ankle, I've found.
Which would suck, as the pool just opened.

I'm going to attempt 'outside most of the day, then sneak on at the library.' Hopefully that'll do it.

Until then, I'm spending the summer rejuvenating my drawing. And writing a novel. And drinking lots of Coke. (freakin' hot here)

-hugs- your parents sound like my mom. ._. but i can cut off the internet at this house, and hack into her computer. so if she tries anything, it's down with the system~
but you evidently have no such luck. ;-; i feel for you, i truely do. X.x hopefully your parents will drop some of the insanity and let you on osmetime.
