Whee, Foothold looks awesome. ^_^ Very welcome addition, I'm sure. (Everyone needs to get their knee-high boots from somewhere~! *imagines her getting swamped with folks looking for BUCKLESPLZKTHX~!*

Oh, Shard! I just looked at the front page and I noticed that Agate-muse-thing had an asteriks next to him. XD If you need more bad guys in one place, he'll go, but there's no way in heck he'll listen to Knux-elf or really do his bidding. I think he'd be the same way whether or not he was in the good holt: fucking around with whomever he lives closest to and generally annoying the heck out of them. XD Maybe he'd be best to be a wanderer?

There's a 2nd group *after* the one mentioned in the story. That's you guys now applying. Many muses. I'm going to incorporate the elf Olympics (which they call just Games I guess since there's no Olympus here) into that story I think.

*gads* now I've committed to writing a 2nd story lol!

And as for the Knux group would *anyone* want to take orders from him?

He's not necessarily the leader, hell, I don't think any of em should BE leaders, they're a sloppy excuse for a tribe if they are all put together anyway. I'll make the characters up and we'll see where it goes.

... So many wandering, though with distinct groups for KTFE and Agate's group of course... What should we call them. Meanies, and ... Phreaks?

Yeah I just selected a gradient for the color replacer.

I do that in a couple of them.

I've got now a couple more guys created from existing elf holts populations.

The Elf Olympics will take place in the year 120, and I'm going to assume that you lot want it at the Dragonclan holt - everyone else will be there anyway.

That'll mean a steady influx of visitors, needing food, shelter, health care and ... wait this is sounding way too much like storm refugees lol! They do come prepared, but it *is* a long journey.

Anyone have any requests for 'exhibition games' that'd be fun to show off to the visitors? Well obviously dragon-flying things - there might be a couple people showing up on the backs of giant birds, but they have no dragons elsewhere.

I'm thinking about 2 separate types of contests, physical and magical. Physical would include stuff like running, high jumping, quick hunting, tracking, sparring, wrestling, climbing and swimming. Magical stuff would be quick-shaping objects, mind-snare, sending distance, self-shaping, that sorta stuff (I can't think of all that many general categories for it other than individual shaping for metal, stone, plant and bone). Suggestions welcome.

When I have more details I'll post em.

X3 Do various holts have different representational flags or other objects? Maybe some kind of opening ceremony could be flown by Dragonclan folks! Definitely some kind of night-flight demonstration, like... not fire-works, but like... aerial-poi or something! That'd be fun!

I'm not very good at coming up with challenges and competitions, but perhaps some kind of big hunt could be done... followed by a big-ass welcoming dinner or something? X3333 I dunno!

@ katasev - let's wait for a moment, since I've got a backlog of muses and people that haven't been done. I'll probably greenlight them later.

@ Dray - I do have a kind of symbol/art for each of them but I never really got very far finishing them. Thumbnails but no complete pieces. It's not like they need flags to determine their 'kingdom' as there is no competition for their space by intelligent creatures other than a scant few here and there.

I LOVE the idea of an aerial poi show - flaming dragons! lol! Again, I'll work out some further details over the weekend. But first I need to finish the Geperna hatching....

I'm *positive* that kinda thing - ie: exhibitionIST games - will *also* be going on...

Any opportunity to spread the gene pool around.

lol - well, it IS the tropics, many of these elves will be coming from cooler climates and will therefore be shedding some extra layers of clothing...

And just why wouldn't Epicure enter the games? His healing skill is probably the highest on the western side of the continent... If anything people'd want him on hand just to heal the injuries that will inevitably pop up when the physical contests are going on.

Not that he won't have a handful of people steadily watching him and making sure he's not doing anything *weird* to people while he's healing them...

He is indeed. Ed used to play drums for a drum-n-bass band called Fatal Blast Whip. They made a cd and appeared on a couple electronica collections, and were *really* good. Until their lead singer decided that he was a she and got a gender reassignment *without telling the others she was doing so* and her voice went from this beautiful gothic-gravel-deep to ... well, no longer so masculine and that just ruined it. Then he moved away anyway so they broke up.

But Lyric is going to be part of the musical crew in the Dragonclan holt, certainly.
