The non-randomized breeding will yield virtually the same cats as the first batch, actually! Because the parents each possess two copies for every gene, every kitten gets at least one. They would be more randomized if you were to breed one parent to another random cat (for example, another Tiger Grizzle, another Mahogany or another Kite Bronze). I can still do this breeding for you, if you'd like! Just thought I should forewarn you that they'll all be pretty much identical!

I'm toying around with having winged cats occasionally show up on my page index, similarly to how JKat's Nidus has random dragons appear below the navigation bar, and I want to make some of the cats that appear more friendly than others, so I'm thinking of adding some personality stats to their general pile of genes and info.

I'm just trying to figure out how to make that happen. I think sliding scales with opposing values at either end would make the most sense, but I want two or three of these to get some interesting personality mixtures. For example,

• feral/hunter <--> cuddly/useless outdoors

• outgoing <--> laid back

• timid <--> bold

That sort of pairing of opposites! If you happen to be good at thinking up opposing personality traits that would apply to cats, I'd love to hear some thoughts on what two or three make the most sense.

(My thought is that once I've instilled those in the species, if you breed two of a kind in, say, friendly, their offspring have a chance of tending towards more friendly, which means that not only can you breed for colours, you can breed for temperaments, so you could have grizzled black guard cats or fluffy friendly cuddly butterballs. X3)

Do you want any cats, and if so, how many? *eyeballs the three pages of loafers that hang 'round the Nidus* I'm eventually going to dump them on various riders so they can have proper care, but in the meantime imagine an annoyingly clever flock/pod of flying cats running amok. It's horrible!

So I used a not-quite-random breeding style where I used four combinations (All dominants, half-dominant/half-recessive x 2, all recessives) to make some offspring. You're guaranteed at least one point that way, given the parentage!
(I'm still working on a way to incorporate the personality and, I think, size scales into the code. I'll toss you some randoms/proper breeding for that shortly once it's all figured out.)

Some fixes that I need to correct for Iogan: He should have TA rather than TTi (That was my mistake!) and at the end he should have "+//+ (Homozygous Yellow Iris)" (I shouldn't nano and cat-make at the same time!)

**So the process for these is that you can choose between 1 and all 4 of them. Any that you decide to page will be registered and may then breed; the ones you decide not to page will go to the re-adoption pages -- or if anyone else wants one, toss me a comment and whatever StarFyre doesn't want will be registered under anyone else who wants dibs!
