I've been checking back every so often (it's nice to go away for a week and come back and see the little yellow eggs lighting up, let me tell you!) and updating my Nidus when I feel like it -- not that it's currently easily visible to the casual observer... I haven't been advertising any of the new clutches because I'm there isn't a tonne of interest in non-Pernese dragons these days and I'm not happy with the giveaway system. (I'm not happy with the cookie-cutter clutches either, but I don't have the time to up my game to make individuals... besides, I feel like the Nidus isn't the right place to do that anyhow.)

You know me, though. Here, there, everywhere. I run a wide circuit that takes its time coming back again.

I'm also curious: Are those of you here only interested in Pern -- or are Pernese dragons from non-traditional places like Niduses acceptable?

Oh,yeah, I'm still here as well. On the topic of Pern, it seems to be a bit of a vicious cycle. In my experience, most of the other people are interested in Pern right now, so I'm running Pern clutches. I'm afraid if I did a lot of non-Pern clutches, I don't know how many people would be interested. Although, personally, I'm perfectly happy with participating in non-Pern clutches (I'm planning to do something for your Nidus clutches as soon as I have some free time). I'm just iffy on running them till I know how many people would be interested. And also, it would probably involve putting Sedona on hiatus again because of time, so there's how many people would prefer that over Darkling Dawn to consider.

I understand completely. I am planning on polishing Corona up so that it's more visitor-friendly (right now just about all of the info there is for my own benefit!) and I plan on creating a viable traditional candidate-writing, hatching-story situation whenever the former gets finished. Ultimately I would love to go back to that Nexus Colony game that I had been working on -- but again with the viability thing, and the lack of knowledge as to where to advertise.

I like both traditional and non-traditional clutches since I have characters for both. I was planning on opening a non-traditional place myself, but it has fallen by the wayside for the moment since I don't have any finished images.

Yeah I have no qualms about either, I think my happy-place when Aneris reopened is why I've been glomming onto all the Pern dragons

I had a dream about being a dragon, and watching the millennium falcon fly around this jungle chased by an Imperial cruiser, and I was all following the movements of the ship... As a dragon.

Obviously, this means, everyone should get more dragons this year.

Oh that was not the first time I've had ones about a) being a dragon, b) it being a Nexus type dragon or c) being about the Nexus regardless of whether I know anyone's appearance anyway. There was one way more colorful dream I recall a while ago, taking place on a steep street I know of, and very very colorful Bower-style dragons. In fact this one was more like, white and sleek and plain dragon.

Yeah records rooms are getting more and more bare these days.

And of course, next week, Yahoo will no longer support the built-in FTP that my old Dreamweaver MX uses. They really want to force people to use paid services or things I have no interest in doing, but they also *refused to update the mb amount* for their 'easy upload' service. 5mb max upload? One freaking picture can wipe THAT out. ... So I'm a bit frustrated about that at the moment. I'll keep using it as long as I can, but then I'll have to learn how to use some other ftps service. :/ buh. Not at all convenient.

I use Dreamweaver's FTP, too (well, I have CS5...and I've learned to use templates which can make my life harder...and more difficult. heh) but I don't use Yahoo! as my domain (HostGator). I have unlimited space, though (my old Estarr account had 250MB and I filled that up to quickly...)

FTP Surfer is a program i used before I learned DW let me upload from the program. Another one I've used is FireFTP (which is an add-on for firefox so search for it there...i know you use/used FireFox since you suggested it to me. heheee). FreeFTP looked pretty easy, too.
