Thanks everyone for updating so quickly. I think this first Hatching went fairly well. I kind of rushed the story a bit, but next time should be better. I'm still waiting to hear back from Kitsuneko about Opazath, but I'll get that up as soon as I have the information.

Yakima, I would prefer not to since I've already updated the records. However, I don't mind if you add in a y (Iriyath) or change one of the i's to a y (Yriath or Iryath) to make it different. That's a much easier change for me to make than giving her a whole new name.

Yriath is fine...either way you still have to change the records. heh And, you don't have to put her full name if you don't want. Yenna is what her 'dragonrider' name will be or you can just use Calyenna. *shrugs*

Also I thought I should note that all of the newly hatched dragons are listed as hatchlings even though you aren't expected to use the hatchling images. This is for my own purposes. After each hatching subsequent to when a clutch hatched, I will upgrade the status of the previous clutch(es). This way I have an established timeframe for them to be adults and to rise at Aneris or other weyrs/establishments.

So, im curious. Why is Yriath so small? I'm not complaining because it's perfect actaully. I'm just wondering if it was a random generator of if you planned it?

Size was chosen randomly based on the constraints given for each color in The Dragonlovers Guide to Pern split into halves. I thought quarters would be too much. So sizes are as follows:

So Gold 38 - 42 meters
Bronze - 35 - 38
Brown - 30 - 35
Blue - 25 - 30
Green - 20 - 25
White - 15 - 20 - this of course isn't in the Guide, but we assumed based on the other sizes given that this would be accurate.

These are all built into my dragon generator, so it gives me color, size, and the personality profile.

Ah ok...im 'converting' mine to feet (i use feet but the numbers are the same). I actually made some Pernse size charts that I can show you. Some people use meters, some feet. I use to use meters until i realized how big they would be. heh.

ALSO...do you by chance know who Rikceth's sire was? Istabith's records were vauge (and the file i have are very confusing). gold Sessith was the dam but there was no mention of the sire...if not, that is fine.

There actually is no sire listed, other than he's bronze. It actually says, Parents: Gold Sasiath Bronze---- (i have the page saved.)

Sorry, I have been completely without power, much less internet, for days. ;_; I just realized the clutch had hatched, so I'll get back to you about Opazath as soon as I can. I love the dragons, by the way. They all seem to fit the riders quite well.

White Opazath was caught by Blue Jadereth. There are now six eggs on the Sands.


EDIT: You may want to get your candidates in quick. Two spots are already gone thanks to Yulara. LOL. She has a plethora of them and not many places to send them. There is a limit of two per person since this is a small clutch.

What is the possibility of a brown from this clutch? I have one candidate ready, just need to get her story paged, and i could send her. Otherwise I may pass as i'm struggling with makenna's story..actually been writting Yenna's stories for hatchling and stuff soo..yeah.

Ummmm, I don't want to reveal too much. I'll say there's a less than 20% chance of a brown in any given white clutch. Send her on if you want, and if the right dragon for her isn't in this clutch, I just won't let her Impress. I'll hold her over and just put in one of my own candidates for that spot.

And just to reiterate, I randomize all of the dragon personalities before I ever look at a candidate. They are already decided and saved before I open the clutch for candidates.

EDIT: Also I'm really enjoying the different firelizards from The FGPC Weyrhall. I don't have the right candidates for them... yet, but I'll definitely be looking there for some.

Oh hey, I do have one request... If there would be a way to keep the records of who attended what flight? And maybe link to the winner? Google is good enough for the existing dragons to be found pretty easily but lol my poor brain I cant remember who all I've ever sent anywhere now, for flights. (even one just passed... ugh) I know there's not necessarily a flight story for each one, but it might be nice to see who won and who lost.

Long ago I'd sent Hikari out to Firestone Weyr. She paired up with a blue, but I've never gotten him past the Hatchling stage. Now, I do HAVE the weyrling and adult stages of that image, so technically speaking I could grow him without the weyr still being around (it's not, so far as I can tell, since the last incarnation of it went to Geocities, and never surfaced fully even then). But I was thinking of evolving the character and her dragon - one of two ways, depending on what you'd agree to.

One would be to simply allow the hatchling to die some way, which I've had to do in other situations like this one where an online Weyr vanished before completely growing the clutch.

The other would be to grow the dragon, but to send her to the white's clutch as well.

Hikari is a 'transition' character, she was born on Alskyr to Pernese parents, and is aware of both worlds. I haven't started doing anything beyond looking over the character, yet, so those two options for me would be of equal value - of course if you think it's best to grow the blue and leave him alive, and *not* send them to Aneris, that's okay too, because it's ultimately your call whether a full-grown dragon and his rider would be appropriate to stand

I liked seeing the table, actually, it keeps things easy - just copy and paste, that's what I did on Dragonhope.

So please get your candidates in. Any extra will carry over to the next clutch which will be Aneris' own Green Lianith's. We also still need chasers.
