And I finally got around to updating the hatching sands with all the candidates I've received. I'm planning to hatch the clutch on Sunday, so candidates are being accepted today and tomorrow still. There's about 9-10 spots left in the clutch.
Darkling Dawn: Fauna Frenzy Open to candidates; flights open to males/females; rukel eggs/breedings available.
Drockh-Tallahn Castle: 3 eggs, 2 available. Females and males needed.
Sgiath Wolfkeep: 7 pups available
Sedona Weyr: 12 eggs, Deadline March 8. Chasers and a female needed.

YAY. But you're missing one of the ones I sent you. Should I re-send her? It's Kinerill.

EDIT: Go ahead and use Emden. I'll make him a quick page. Another character I'm working on is his sister, so he'll show up in that story as well.

Yuneth's clutch hatched, revealing some interesting dragons. :) A few of them are NPCs and available to be claimed, and there's still a few from the last clutch as well, if anyone's interested. Otherwise, I'll turn them into wing-fodder when I get the time. Kioqawth has flown as well, and was caught by bronze Tasirth. The random generator did not see fit to give me a queen egg, unfortunately. Also, Emeraldth's flight has one opening left, and there are two free spots for female risers, if anyone's interested. If I get one riser and still have a free spot left, I'll throw Illianth up again for more cross-gender goodness. :D

I have some possible females I can send in. Would you prefer green or gold or white or something non-traditional? I have a cream-blue girl from Ryslen. :)

I have absolutely no preference. I'd like to get a queen egg on the sands again soonish, but since I'm randomizing the clutches, there's no guarantee of getting one even if you sent a gold.

Congrats everyone! I wasn't expecting to see an Orange since they seem to be rather rare. I love Oranges. :) I have some beautiful dragons to page and some lucky candidates to upgrade to rider status! (and a couple more candidates to send in!)

I could take a rider or two from the previous one (I did adopt one already though). I'm not sure who's still available.

Ah! I still want to send Tiger's-eye Blue Kyulith for Emeraldth's flight. I'd better hurry and do that. :D

Hm, for possible gold eggs, I could send a female gold or two (or starry Danachians if those work for you?). I have Bronzes too of course, and bronze-sized males. Typical or rare colors, any preference?

Cross-gendered dragons... I think I have a cross-gendered gold floating around too. But he carries hydra genes... Maybe a female Danachian Black (Cathair Utopian but of Calyeni stock)? If I remember correctly she's between bronze and starry/gold in size. I have a male Gold-winged Blue, and a female Black, both from Eriol (but they're bonded to other dragons, if that's a problem). Let me know if you want more info/links/forms for any of them!

Looks like I have some stuff to do today. :)

Yulara sent in one of her golds for a mating flight. I'll have to talk to Kira about flight participation, but she only has Emaria's Green Opelth right now.

EDIT: Yulara has some rather non-traditional colored dragons as well. A purple, a red-gold, and a foilage green from one of the Frenzies at Ryslen, but they're all bonded to Harpies. If you're interested in unique females. I also have one of the Sanrix Azon queens... Black Fire-Marked Veridain.

:D Sorry about bonding two of yours in the same clutch; I paired K'yo before any of the others and figured that was it, but then the silver came along and was too perfect to pass up.

Aside from Paeroeth, none of the other unclaimed dragons from the last clutch were adopted. And after checking my mail in the middle of writing this post, it seems I did get another gold flier, so I guess I'm good on females, at least until Emeraldth rises.

Also, as far as fliers go, I tend to go the closer to canon the better, at least where Sedona's concerned (Rares are supposed to stay rare, after all). Unbonded dragons or dragons bonded to other dragons would probably be refused unless they've got a human friend willing to pose as a rider; Harpies would depend on how inhuman they are and whether they could pass as human, at least to a casual observer.

That's good to know. The harpies definitely do not look human. We'll stick to our more traditional ones then which is the majority of what we have. There are just those few quirky ones here and there.

About the two bonders in one hatching, that's perfectly fine. I just didn't want all of them bonding at once. (As it turns out I didn't get all from that group sent in anyway, haha.) I sent it kinda late, so hopefully I didn't seem too "grr" on that. xD I definitely wasn't expecting a Silver, and one with searching capabilities at that!

All right, I sent in four chasers for you. One is rare-colored, but he doesn't have to catch her. But he's co-bonded with another chaser and they're mighty competitive. (Either way if it's too much I don't mind if he's not listed!)

Hm, from the NPCs, could I adopt bronze Navoroth and S'met? (it was a toss-up between him or the two hold-bred riders) :)

LOL. I think I've developed a problem. I've already finished one candidate, started a second, and I've got probably half a dozen planned. It's good to be writing candidates again. So, would you prefer boys or girls for this next clutch, Kitsuneko? LOL

EDIT: Also, is your castle still in operation? I have Ore Okkina who could participate there, and I'd love some more Icarian dragons. Then perhaps I could send some of these candidates over there or encourage my other niece to write. She's not so familiar with Pern so she hasn't bothered with candidates yet.

I will try to update the site sometime when I'm not at school. As far as candidates are concerned, male or female doesn't matter to me a bit. I've got a more or less even list of NPCs, and if there is a surplus of one or the other, it usually just leads to cross-gender Impressions. :)

And my Castle is totally open, I've just been waiting until someone showed an interest in it to do something with it. Same with Darkling Dawn. (Though I keep reminding myself to finish the dragon images for the one candidate I still have to bond there, and then forgetting. >.<)

Ahhhh, great. I definitely need some more draks. I'll send in an aspirant or two for the current clutch. Okkina is the only drak I have or I'd send a pair for a flight. Though Yulara has a duo-winged female she could send if you're interested.

First candidate sent as well. I know Kira is working on at least one. Yulara is working on a couple. So, it should be a fun clutch.

I just wanted to let you know that life chewed me up and spat me out the last couple of weeks. I think I will have enough free time to get my dragons up and their new riders updated sometime this weekend. :3

I'm very interested in draks. Unfortunately my miniature castle's inhabitants are scattered on the four winds of the Internet and I've yet to recover all of their pages. But once they're accounted for and on their new pages, I'll have to send some draks and aspirants your way. I have at least one bonded/mated pair of draks I could send, though they have odd colors if that's all right. :D

Okay, so I'll have another male for this clutch. I know Yulara has a boy she's working on and possibly one other. I don't know about Kira. She's been sick. I'll have to poke her. I'm trying to get my other niece interested in Icarus. She's never read the Pern books, so I thought I could give her a place to focus her creative energy. I'll try to come up with an aspirant or two. I didn't have as much time on my hands on this Easter vacation as I thought I would. :)

I've almost finished my last candidate. He should be in today or tomorrow. I don't know if Kira is going to submit one. She's been busy with school. I'll have to flag her down this evening. Yulara has one more boy that she's going to finish. If you would like, I can make a quick page for an NPC character. He's mentioned in the story for this final candidate I'm making. It just depends on what you'd like.

I'm excited to see how my boys do in the next flight as well. I'm really enjoying the events at Sedona, and soon I hope to reopen Aneris.

I just got another candidate today, though I don't remember at the moment who it was from. I have a list of premade NPCs and an NPC generator, but if you did make an NPC, they'd need at least a one-or-two-word personality blurb so I could pair them up with a dragon.

...Looking forward to Aneris reopening. :D

It's Yulara's Ryntai. LOL. She still has one more after him that she plans to make, and yeah, Ilenok would have a page similar to Emden's. I don't think Kira's going to manage to get one in this time.

I just wanted to let you know that I have been unable to work on my updates from the last clutch before today. I also discovered an error on N'ne's page (his dragon Baraith is chasing one of the females on the flight board) that links someone else's dragon. Before I could fix it I was pulled away for the rest of the day. Life has been like that since I posted last. I don't want to go on hiatus but I wanted you to be aware that I'm attempting to stay up-to-date. I'm not going to send in any candidates or ask for any NPCs until I am up-to-date again, which may not be for a few weeks yet.

Ziwath and Shant-Sayu's urls will be these:
http://neishai.zymichost.com/we-re_roco ... ziwath.htm
http://neishai.zymichost.com/we-re_roco ... t-sayu.htm

...and I will let you know as soon as they are up. Thanks for understanding. ><

edit: addendum:

All right, I fixed N'ne
Updated personal flight charts for dragons/riders chasing at Sedona
Uploaded the hatchlings (links above are correct)
Updated their new bonds' pages a bit, but more work to do

Bah, I couldn't help it. Doesn't change what I said, but I don't think I could have slept without doing this first. :)

Just a quick heads up, I know Kira was working on someone tonight, but I don't know if she got them done or if she will. I know she said she was going to try. I told her the deadline was tomorrow. I've also left her a message regarding NPCs. I'll try and get in touch with her again fairly early tomorrow. Looking forward to this hatching. :)

Kioqawth's clutch has hatched! There's plenty of NPCs left over for anyone who wants them; any dragon without a name beside it is open.

Several pages haven't been updated yet since I haven't heard back from Dray yet on who won Emeraldth's flight. Soon as I do, I'll put that clutch up on the sands, though.

And new clutch is up! Emeraldth was caught by Brown-Ruby Mikuth, so rares are a definite possibility. That also frees up a female slot in the mating flights, if anyone's interested. I've already got two queens looking for chasers, so I'm not looking for any color in particular.
