Nexus Night Before Christmas 2011

T'was the night before Christmas and all 'cross the board,
Eggs were all yellow -- oldbies posting once more.
In the Nexus' new digs it seemed that life was thriving,
All free of bots and now no longer hiding.

Though without same horde as in old years before,
And clutches were certainly not on the roar,
A handful of regulars, happy, it appeared,
With the move from Dev-Uprising to our new name here,

Kept up the babble, enough to inspire
Crazy taxidermies, mad-sciency mires,
Sharing of know-how of php and database code,
All gathered round each warm monitor node.

And big plans for the Nexus had brewed up this year:
A mass exodus to a brand new frontier,
A DeviantArt-group revamp to hook new folks,
Re-imaginings meant for new life to coax.

The people still here distill all of the best
Of the Nexusy passion that is the behest
Of any proper Nexiian, past present or future --
It's pretty rad here to see such a culture.

So with great sincerity from my Christmas pajamas,
And right next to Dray (right now templating madness),
I say KEEP IT UP FOLKS! We'll persevere yet!
Keep sticking around, keep your appetite whet!

I love you guys, and that's why I keep doing
This mad poem which each year is my sleepy undoing
So with a big grin on my face I once more recite:
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
