A kiriban is a number with special significance that gets some kind of reward. An example might be a number of pageviews on an artist's Deviantart gallery: whoever gets the 1000th pageview, for example, might get a free sketch from that artist. In this case, I'm keeping track of ID #'s on the cats. Erinnyes just hit the recent kiriban of M050 and F050 (her customs for that are truly mind-blowing... I hope she puts them up soon!) so the next kiriban cats will be M100 and F100.

I guess we're even now because you ninja'd me on adopting F015 Razz Maybe we'll have to set up a breeding at some point.

I'm also planning on randomizing the number of kittens. Would that be something that you guys would be okay with? So far I've just been defaulting to 4 per litter, but I'm thinking of having 1-6, with 3-4 being the most common.

As for which traits, I'm rather in love with the extreme dilute or "Lemon" colouration. M049 (or 'Nash', now) carries it, which is why I snagged him while I could.

Dilute is a really nice one. So are Recessive Red and Rubella, just because they mess with the cat's colours... I really like Kite Bronze and Gazzi together, too; they generally turn out cats with bronze wings, as well as a white head and belly. X3

I'm slowly trying to see how I can add /cat/ genes into this mix. It is a little daunting, though!

One of mine carries Gazzi - I think Vega does - and Altair for sure carries rubella. I had no idea these guys could be so diverse!

Cat genes are something I understand really well; that said, I have no clue how I'd even begin with mixing them into the pigeon genes XD

Are we still able to request randoms if we have an established loft? Mine are all interbred like woah but no real lethal genes in there for me to worry about which seems like cheating.

Also, is there any maximum to the amount of cats in a loft? I've been throwing all of mine in Antikito because I hate splitting them up but I can always divide them up if that would make more sense. (In character, I've been seeing them as "everyone's" cats with people stopping by and helping to take care of them throughout the day - kind of like those Japanese tea + cat places that popped up a while back.)

I've set the limit of ten cats per page -- you can separate them by gender, or breed (or proto-breed XD), or by isolated genes. If you'd like to make some of your pages available for trading/breeding but not others, you can divide them up the way that Houka Ryuu has into sub-lofts. Think of it as... after a certain number of cats, the loft can't physically hold any more. Wild flocks of winged cats usually only reach the ten-ish mark, forming into mega-flocks occasionally but not for long periods. Do let me know if links have changed and I'll update the registry!
