Nah, any male gold to chase Shard's female brown, which would hopefully lead to female brown being caught by male gold and laying eggs which may contain male golds which would be awesome. *nods sagely*

Yeah... I've been trying to relax and consoling my angry muse with promises of sleep and cookies. Neither the sleep nor the cookies (the cream filling on my oreos is nasty and oily) have been working out. XD

I do intend to send a candidate or two, just trying to pace out my writing so I don't burn out and drop it for several months again. I've gotten soft, what can I say?

Thanks! Stats candidates are perfectly fine for pretty much anything that could come from this clutch. (The only ones I'd require a story for are golds and particularly rare colors.)

Yep, Shard, just got her (and Yakima's) and updated the Candidate List.
And seriously, guys, do not feel guilty for sending stats candidates. I have absolutely no problem pairing them up (or writing them...lol) if it means I get more candidates. Sedona dragons are paired mainly based on personality anyway.

Just a note that candidates are due by tomorrow night. I've got five candidates so far, and npcs are still available. There's a couple things I would like to ask about future clutches:
First, do you all want hatchling/weyrling images, or are just the adults fine? I reeeally haven't drawn anything in a while, might like the practice, if nothing else. XD They'd grow a stage every time a clutch hatched.
And on that note, is two weeks a long enough deadline to write candidates, or should I extend it to maybe three weeks or a month?

I personally don't mind just the adults, since it's easier to page things that way. 2-3 weeks should be enough to put out reasonably short, but interesting candidates or stat pages.

I'll admit, I completely messed myself up this weekend (too much sugar/soda, too little real food, too little sleep), so I'll need some time to recover this week. Don't know how I managed to get myself so crazy overwhelmed, to be honest.

On the flip side, a good dinner and some light alcohol (ironically enough) put me in a much better state of mind. All should be good.

However, I think 2-3 weeks works to keep pacing going. Fast enough that people don't get bored and lose interest, but slow enough to not lose everyone (unless you're me XD), though if the candidates input starts trailing off, it might not be a bad idea to ease up the pace or give a small break. Sometimes there's only so much inspiration to go around. =)

Illianth's clutch has hatched, and Ykauth's clutch is on the sands. There is a gold egg, so I've extended the deadline an extra week for this clutch, for more time to write a queen candidate. (If anyone wants to send one, aside from Shard, anyway XP)
