Okay, updated the sands in instuctions but here they are again:

Eweth's clutch is a partial-giveaway clutch. Egg count is unknown nor is it known if there is a gold egg.

Erinyess is in charge of this clutch since I'm leaving for four days. When I get back, it's hatching. Reserve spots to get NPC's to flesh out later, or send in a traditional candidate for a higher ranking dragon (gold, bronze and maybe white if she wants them to hatch). Rules will still apply but DON'T SEND THE FORM TO ME. Post it or PM it to Erinyess at the Nexus Forum. She's deciding everything. When I get back, Jaerialoth will have flown and we'll get back to the flight board list. *nods*

I'm going to go ahead and say that the maximum number of NPC's you can request is 2. As far as written, traditional Candidates go, I'm won't set a limit, but don't avalanche me or anything.

I also want to state that NPCs are only eligible for greens, blues and browns, and that any bronzes, golds, or rare colors that might be in this clutch will require a storied Candidate.

Hey question then, do the current "filler" applications count toward this clutch or do you want entirely new ones? And, is there a limit to storied candidates, or?

If you'd like one of your Dark Moon fillers to be used for this clutch, just send it to me.

Naturally since Yakima took those applications I don't know what colors you want for them. But that should be no problem.

As for storied Candidates, I'm really setting no limit on them (Okay, maybe the limit is like, 6 or something? But I can't imagine anyone sending more than that anyway!) But if you want to send more than that, I truly have no problem with it. I will not be rejecting storied Candidates since the amount of NPCs given is set low.

Additionally, stats-page Candidates are also welcome! They basically no different in my opinion from NPCs (except of course that I don't have to make the characters for 'em!). They don't count toward the 2 NPC limit, but I will be also limiting these to 2 as well.

So, in theory, you could ask me for 2 NPCs, send me 2 stats-page Candidates, and as many stories as you can type in a few days (This is NOT a challenge, Shard! ;D)

The deadline is Monday! Sorry that doesn't give people much time, but I'll need to have them all collected up by then in order to write the story and have it done in a timely fashion, so as not to throw Yakima's Weyr into a giant traffic jam,

Don't worry, deadline is still Monday - was thinking an extension to Wed to let the Horse Show Fever run it's course (a few rides on my own and I should have it out of my system...sorta).

Today, I've ingested about two or three cans of soda, some high-quality green tea (as in $5 an ounce, but it's so tasty), and I'm pondering getting some coffee to get me through the night writing. Not that my muse has been working at all, of course. But I do have this fun twitch in my fingers.

*twitch-finger, twitch-finger, whee!*

Um, I'm not sure it's a good idea to be trying to write candidates under this energy spell, but it is fun. And leave regret until the morning, as they say. XD

Hope the horse show was good? Also I hope you have pictures to share with the rest of the class. =)

Heh, no pictures. Just video of some of the other 'team' members. (my trainer's group is now known as 'Team Sellers' and since I train with Shelly, too, I consider them my team.) My camera is stupid and either it was blurry because it's shaking due to something wrong inside it, or the pictures looked grainy. Had better luck with video.

I didn't show. That's going to be the first week of August at our fair. I want video of my classes, not pictures. You can't learn anything from pictures. You can see mistakes if you watch the movement.

It went good, though. Camped out in a tent which was fun except I shared the mattress with my step sister who had to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom which woke me. Got rained on two nights but all the big, bad evil, tornado producing storms missed us.

Caught up with some old friends (equine and human) and made new ones (again, equine and human

). It was a learning experience if anything. You can learn things from watching as well as showing. And since this was Pinto I can't compete there (and don't want to. $300 for a show would eat my wallet alive) since I have a non-colored Arabian.

Anyway, don't kill yourself over candidates.

I do have to unwind and make it through work tomorrow. My manager in the morning is really pissing me off and I don't know if I'll be able to open any more. Hopefully, if she has me moved because of my 'attitude' she'll fall on her face because nothing I do in the morning will be done. *shrugs*

*goes to see if laundry is done yet* At least I was smart this time and packed really light. Less stuff to clean up.

Wed would just be nice for me, enough time to get a few rides in on my horsie. I am determined to do well (with or without ribbons to prove it) at the fair this year. *nods vigorously* That horse show really gave me inspiration. That, and I know what my boy needs to look like better now. And my trainer gave me tips.

(now, if only I had a real arena to work him...*cries*)

I ride and have the opposite problem.

My horse is old but I have tons of room to ride around in (or I could, but she's a bit too old for anything above a trot anymore). The only other two on the farm are 'off the track' Thoroughbreds, and it's not so much that you ride them as it's, "get on, give them a nudge and HANG ON."

In conclusion, I have no show horses.

I have this urge to take my horse to a race track just to see how fast he can go.

He's fun to let run. But I won't let him have any 'fun' until after the fair. He hates me right now. I can only ride in front of the house which isn't very helpful for 'ring work'. It's only the county fair - I don't have money for anything else.

I'm not big into the showing thing. It's just nice to have something to work on other then going down the road all the time. If I can get people to take video at the fair, I'll post 'em.

I understand, Shard. I'm trying to get Treval reorganized and back online for some reason (the wings are harder to organize over there so I'm getting frustrated...haven't touched Treval for soooo long); candidates and hatchings and whatnot.

You'll get some NPCs. This was a quick, filler clutch meant to be a giveaway, not a 'send in some written candidates' type. *nods* But I appreciate those that wanted to write stories for them.

I do have an existing character or two that were going to the Victory Dance but it doesn't look like that'll be happening. I'm likely to move a few of those to both your sites and Sedona as time goes by and I find them all.

I'll admit, I really hadn't realized how badly out of practice I was in writing. Here's hoping I don't get that overwhelmed in future efforts, I'd hate for the Nexus to become comparable to my English essay exams. =\

Wouldn't mind an NPC or two tossed my way as well. I can also draw up a quick genetic snippet for both parents if you'd like. I can easily track down the parents again.

Okay, posting this real quick before I go to bed. I don't have the hatching sands updated but that is partially because I don't have the flights story for the next clutch.

Okay, well, now that I finally read the hatching, I realized that three of the hatchlings are of the pale/dark shades so it's been updated accordingly. Sorry about that. I just assumed they were all average because that was how she sent the list. heehee. *shrugs* I also have gender's right now, on the records. *facepalm*
