Kitsuneko: I think that for now I'm going to hold off on making the snaky guys; there's not really enough AAM blood in the pairing for me to justify that... though I'm going to stick within the AAM ranks that would be possible with their combined number of body parts! X3

Hydras always wind up taking longer than other templates. Too many exchangeable parts!

Personality: Before Breen Impressed Dyanath, she was a Weyrbrat, born of a mating flight union between a goldrider and a brownrider. She had full run of the acceptable caverns of the Weyr, and perhaps a few that were off limits, as well, and used these to play intricate games with the other Weyrbrats that sometimes devolved into bullying. That is, Breen was the bully, not the bullied. She has always gotten along better with her father than her mother, given her mother, a Junior Weyrwoman, always pushed Breen to do more, to act smarter, to be better behaved. Breen is only these things when she wants to be, and her father, accepting that children should be allowed to be children, acknowledged that.

It came as a great surprise to everyone, then, when Breen came of age to Impress, that her mother had her transferred to Nidus Corona as a Novo, instead of allowing Breen to Impress in her home Weyr. Though her mother never explained it to her, her reasoning was that living out at the pioneer-like Nidus would teach Breen some proper work-ethic... and to an extent, it did.

Working for long hours to help erect niduli, trap game, and keep the Nidus running was a somewhat humbling experience for Breen, and in the meantime she managed to acquire a whole new set of friends. She would never admit it, but there was a certain amount of homesickness to deal with, so she was extremely grateful to Impress Dyanath a few months after arriving. Training was relatively swift, then. Where Breen was blunt and bull-headed with friends and other Novos, she and Dyanath worked together seamlessly, showing the kind of delicacy usually reserved for long-time rider-dragon pairs. If it wasn't apparent that Breen was natural dragon-rider material before, it certainly became clear during Paro training when the two learned to Between. They managed to get all the way back to their home Weyr without Breen realizing what had happened. So homesick was she that Dyanath had picked up on the Weyr's location and had taken her there.

Appearance: Oci is a young man with tanned skin and fairly odd hair and eyes. The former changes from red to a paler, almost blonde red depending on the quality of the light, and it is a large enough change that it is definitely the hair reacting to the light. His eyes do the same thing, but change from red-brown to peachy coloured. His hair is left loose and wild, and flows all the way down to his waist. It is probably his most handsome feature, as the rest of Ocithuandhe isn't all that much to talk about. Despite this, he is built quite bulky in the sense that he could probably move boulders or smash cement blocks with his head if he wanted to.
Personality: Ocithuandhe commands a certain amount of respect, if not adulation. Maybe respect is too strong a word: Oci is a curiosity, and most people will pay attention to him just because he is so big and powerful looking. Think a cross between Conan the Barbarian from a classic Frazetta painting and Arnold Schwarzenegger in his earlier films. GET TO DA CHOPPAH!

In any case, Oci is exceptionally good at training and caring for dragons, as he's been indebted to a Dragonmaster since he was born. He knows the ins and outs not only of practical care, but of the strategy used in every aspect of a dragon's life. Contrary to popular believe, Oci isn't as dumb as a brick, even though he has never had formal schooling. What most take for bravery or sheer stupidity, Oci takes as carefully planned actions that run on pure gut instinct. When he jumps into a ring with a raging dragon and manages to calm it down, he's not relying on blind luck so much as all of the little quirks he studied and practiced with.

For all his homely appearance and somewhat odd behavior, Oci does manage to catch the occasional lady's eye. Considering that he's relatively fertile, this is probably a good thing, as he would one day like to settle down with a large family of his own -- if he can work off his own debt, that is. He dreams of a day when he can be free and in control of his own life.

Saeri, your page layout's lovely -- I like what you did with the lineage chart, by the way! For 'clutch number', Nidus Corona is run by year rather than by clutch. I think Amauth came from year 6, if that helps! Ozamdouth came from year 1!

Shard, if there's a longer pause and nobody signs up for more hydras, do you mind if I pass over some more? XD I'd like to leave some room for more people if they still want one, though I'm definitely open to your dragon master sporting a small pack of them if nobody else bites.

It's only because it comes across in the same bile-filled manner as the rest of his words that foolish people think to challenge him. Teshann is the kind of man who is at the top, and who is quite willing and able to fight to keep his place. He trusts only a few people, and those only dubiously, in order to handle areas in which he is weak.

I almost always end up being disappointed with the character-maker's options (not a SINGLE good-looking option for dreadlocks! Oi) So I end up doing a lot of edits on my own. I ended up one afternoon making a whole freaking set of geisha and maiko just for kicks. (probably I'll never make characters out of them though... it's just fun to put things together

)

The lack of dreadlocks on that generator are really disappointing. I keep thinking that if they opened up the options for people to submit stuff, there would be much more variety -- I know that I could do better than some of the hair and face-line options that they've got, there, at least!
