Appearance: Thanks to advanced technology, Rax is as smooth as a baby's bottom but far more appealing. Despite his long and valorous service with the Inner System Alliance, ever wound and scar has been mended and removed. He is, after all, incredibly vain. And he has every right to be: Rax is tall and incredibly handsome, with chiseled everything. He has dark hair and eyes, pale skin, and a nicely trimmed goatee. It's hard to say if he looks better in a uniform or in the casual clothing of shore leave. Those air-tight space suits really do show off his figure!
Personality: If ever there was a space faring marine romantic, Rax would be him. Nevermind the corruption of earth and her oldest colonies, and the bitter infighting amongst the younger, far-flung colonies. Rax believes that when he does his job, people are getting help that they need to live a better life. He's upstanding and idealistic, and literally can't help but respond to the call of a maiden in distress, even though he has gotten swindled on more than one occasion for his efforts. Most of his companions tell him that he's lucky he's pretty, because it's pretty much the only thing he's got going for him. Rax is hard to bruise, thankfully, as he's too busy looking up at the stars to let idle insults set him back.

Her wide mouth can lend her an endearing or terrifying visage, depending on if she is smiling or cussing a person out!
Personality: Jinane is already a single parent of two young daughters, making becoming a dragon-rider the single most challenging event of her life since her husband was killed. She is definitely a family woman: coming from a large family of glass-workers and jewelers, Jinane is used to the bustle and hubbub -- not to mention the inherent dangers -- of such a lifestyle. Before bonding Jifiu and Jinfiu, she regularly assisted with her family's glassblowing business. She may even go back to that when her bonds are fully grown in two and a half years, as she is quite skilled with hot glass! Jinane can be stubborn and she is quite short-tempered, but she has the ability to cut to the heart of a matter, and she knows how to avoid the dancing around the bush in a way that doesn't cut others down. She is a loving mother, though she does tend to be short with her daughters and she definitely possesses a 'mother knows best' attitude that may one day be maddening!

Oh... oh my. =D I wasn't expecting two dragons! They look and sound absolutely lovely too, thank you! The stoic and the comedian... this should be fun. =)

I'll admit, I had my heart set on the brown-black female when I glanced at Netwi's profile, but I didn't want to make a specific request for her. Just makes a lovely surprise even better though.

I can imagine the migraines Jifiu and Jinfiu would be giving Jinane as they're growing up, and Jinane's daughters would probably encourage kitten summoning until they're up to their armpits in them. I do like Jifiu's other abilities too. Summon some pretty sand, summon a lightning spirit... instant glass art! XD

I've always wondered about the Shizen, Jikan, ect from those clutches (mostly because Suah, Vuku, and ... can't remember other one because I didn't get any dragons from that clutch... were my dragons). Like, how are they special and whatnot.

And, correct me if I'm wrong, Geperna (the old blood strain), was/is like the Pernese but she called them Geperna instead??? I know that those there clutches were modified genetically somehow but yeah...it's always confused me.

I don't think the Geperna as they stand are very Pernese - maybe they started that way (I don't think I was really around when the vast majority of Geperna stuff was going on) but the history she has on them on the page isn't related to Pern. http://wkw.envy.nu/mythicalae/lost_era/dminfo.html

Ah, nice. I dunno, I was going through records from old Weyrs when it looked like it started out as Pernese locale then it shifted to Geperna. *shrug* But it was before my time either way so, yeah, what'd I know.

When I chatted with Drakiera, she sounded as though the Kagayaki, Shizen and Jikan strains were going to be a big thing. The Kagayaki were shinies, Shizen were... elementals or else nature-based. Jikan I'm not as familiar with. Maybe they had something to do with space and/or time? Obviously she never got around to implementing them, however I remember briefly seeing a great big list of abilities and stuff that she had planned!

I'm sorry I don't have another Tecii mutt to give away right now, however I have a brand new clutch just finished of 3/4 Pernese that are ready to give away, and a Makanan/feathery Geperna nearly finished... along with some more Geperna/Wylds on the lurk. I'm excited because this is the first second generation dragon to be legitimately born at Nidus Corona -- I'm completely unsurprised that the very first dragon to lay a second gen clutch is a Pernese Green. That's justice for you, right? (Part of the reason that I've been running this thing is to see how much Pernese dragons will overrun the slower-aging, slower-breeding dragons and mutts. It's been very interesting so far!)

Anyways! There are two greens, a blue, and a 'white-crystal' up for grabs in addition to a Brown-Green, Brown-Black and Red Geperna/Wyld set still kicking around. Since the White-Crystal is a rare, if you're interested, I'd like if you wrote up a proper candidate.

For the rest, I'm currently WAIVING having to make TWO candidates. Just fill out the form once if you don't have a candidate paged already. Personality: Oimlier is an exuberant kid but not an undisciplined one: he knows the value of hard work and study, and applies himself when he feels like it. He does not bow to authority and in fact can be a hell-raiser when he doesn't like his circumstances, but if his mentors respect his drive to learn and his quickly-moving mind, Oumlier can be amazing to work with. With his friends, Oimlier is openly giving, although this falls to jibes and insults as much as it does to sharing earthly belongings.

He has sun-browned skin and flashy, olive-green eyes. Uihouneb wears whatever uniform he is required to, only having very simple clothing to his name to wear when he is not serving others.
Personality: Quiet and demure when necessary, Uihouneb is still a boy and still has a boy's energy. When he's not working, he plays intricate games with his friends out of doors where he can't be chased and beaten. He is exceedingly polite to his elders but is also very competitive and can be quite a teaser of his peers. He loves sports but exceeds more at those that require running and endurance than at those that require strength.

Dhori's sire was a white, so I thought that making most of those offspring quite pale would be nice. One of her daughters is a similar shade of green -- that is, pale -- though she is more blue-green than yellow-green. Sort of minty, I suppose!
