Well, while living at my mom's house is certainly stable, there continues to be a severe lack of jobs, especially ones for artistic people like myself. I'd prefer not to go back to fast food.
So one of my friends in Atlanta has offered me a room in the house they're staying in, and it is, quite frankly, a dream house. For the moment. They rent rooms exclusively to artists and musicians, so there is always something going on and music being played. It's a few blocks from a number of tattoo shops, and the art district, and I already have it set up where I'll be designing websites for a few people, selling my clothing, artwork, jewelry, etc to local shops and thru my website. Pretty much trading my skills for a place to live. The school I plan on attending is also in town, as well as another office for the modeling agency I'm attempting to sign with.
My best friend and I also hustled our way back stage to see one of our favorite groups [Twiztid, with Psychopathic Records] and received keys to their hotel room. After some playful banter and working our girlish magic, they asked us to send them a demo of the CD she and I are working on together, and if they like it, we'll be the first girl group signed with them and will get to go on tour as an opening band for them.
Internet shouldn't be a problem. Just announcing that I've spent the last week there getting everything set up, and will be spotty over the next few weeks while I get settled in and get into the flow of things.
All in all, this move could either be the start of the life of my dreams, or, it could be a total failure. Either way, it will be a learning experience.
Here goes nothing

Holy cow girl, you are ... really amazing
I wish luck to you, because it's a hard thing to get into but you knew that already.
