Winter Gather - First Post! DONE!!

It's mostly the fact that I've had to go from using a tablet to a mouse, and so I can't always get my lines and curves as smooth as I'd like them. My hands are quite shaky when it comes to coloring.

Holidays will be calming down for me at last as of like tomorrow, when I will be madly attempting to finish my Halloween stuff before I try to produce some art for the Gather. I hope I still have time? ^^;;

XD Is it possible to get one of our own dragons? I... really like my big'uns for this year... but then again I wanna see what everyone else has put in to share. I suppose that I'm just glad that I don't have to decide. That must be really hard to do!

Excellent :] I didn't want toooo many of the same ones to go out this year, but the ratio of people who apply to receive dragons, vs the ones that actually put them up [I am half way guilty of this, you don't have to point it out X3] I tried to find a good number.

I have two more breeds I want to do, it's just a matter of getting this laptop working correctly, and getting my muse to cooperate to get them done. And Starfyre being a gem and helping me with the line-art til I can get my tablet here and working X3 I'd be sooo under the dog house right now if it wasn't for her help.

I can definitely 'allow' getting one's own stuff, as there are quite a few from folks so far (I've got 12, and those are not pet-sized), so if I know that the person doesn't mind getting their own, I can just not "skip" that image when I start randomly assigning things.

I have a few dragons in the making for this year's Winter Gather- do you have any idea when I need to get them in by? Like, should I really rush, or do we still have a while?

Well, while I can still collect everyone's stuff since my yahoo address works fine, my own dragons are all stuck on my dead hard drive. So... no time limit yet.

Also, my laptop's dreamweaver files and online files aren't synched up *at all*, so that'll require some work on my part to be able to use the ftp easily.

So... keep working on em, send them in when you're ready, hopefully my hard drive will be rescued and I won't have to figure out how to get my dragons recolored (they had like... 9 layers and many amazing powers but the worksheet on those and their names is all ... on the drive.).

So it's around a month until Spring... If anyone else has their dragons please send them, and anyone else please get your requests for quantities or types in

It's not gonna be huge this time but there are as usual a blizzard of Whorlings,

and I have to say they're *beautiful*.

Cool that shouldn't be any trouble. I think most of the ones i've gotten so far are full sized, and the whorlings count as either in general I believe.
