Ah, dont worry, Delyar....MN hasn't gotten a lot either. Probably matches your 1 cm...well, at least where I live. I heard the Twin Cities are getting 7+ inches.

We're on the tail end of that storm. heehee..

With all the giveaways and such, should we even bother with the full Gather? Just wondering, because I haven't gotten any submissions yet, and I haven't honestly started drawing mine yet, and there are at least 3 giveaways going strong already.

Thoughts?

I was looking to do some fancier art than just the simple pre-based giveaway that I have going. Maybe some crosses between some of my dragons - the thought of holiday steampunk had crossed my mind *shrugs* But I needed christmas itself to be over with before I could start =P Especially with being sick the way I've been lately.

I've got two custom templates in the works, but it's been slow going. I've been holding out for after Christmas, since my boyfriend has hinted at getting me a new tablet. Mouse coloring is not fun v.v

Heh...I've only ever been able to use a mouse. I can't afford a tablet. I'm stuck with a mouse. XD

It seems to depend on the template and whether a mouse works for me or not. Starfyre's been cleaning up my line-art scans, because I can't get my mouse to give me smooth enough lines, and I don't have a real scanner

If it's a template with a lot going on, the mouse is fine, but when it comes to a flowing template, or something that needs to be smooth... ugh. My hands are shaky. I have to do things over and over with the mouse.

I had a tablet when I started out, but my dogs decided it was a chew toy while I was at work one day. I've dealt without, but it's been a hard adjustment, and my patience with pieces tends to show with the lack of tablet. The not-so-great-colored ones are me going "Fine, be that way mouse! Screw you too. I'm done." and refusing to mess with them anymore

This may have been asked before and I missed it, but is there a deadline for getting them in? I don't have a scanner, but I do OWN one, and I'm hoping I'll get it back in time to make a thing or two.

But if it's by next week then it's probably not realistically going to happen.

@_@ I had forgotten about this amongst all of the finals hubbub! I definitely have a few that I would like to send in... I really enjoy drawing the offspring of the last gather dragons that I received, so hopefully I will have a few dragons AND pets that are slightly different but still recognizeably gather-tastic!

I'll get started on 'em ASAP (as in I'm just plugging in the tablet and off I go!)

XD Maybe that's why I got the proper dragon template done so quickly! I'll be emailing you with all of their images and info as soon as the info is written up. After that I'll work on a pet -- might as well do one of each, right? ^_^

Ahaha I'd love to take you up on that, but yes, with as much work as everyone seems to be doing, I don't wanna push my load onto anyone else lol

Maybe try googling a different way to paint stuff. :) I find that when I'm bored of colouring, switching up the way that I colour things can make it interesting again!
