I has two of them! Though neither are up online atm because I'm drowning in school work. There's Tiger Felris, who has feather-wings and tiger patternings, and Albino Peace, who's all white and pretty.

Yay! I know I had given /a lot/ of them out at one time... Maybe when summer rolls around, I'll request everyone who has one to page them and send them to me for a frenzy. And maybe with your white one, I could re-do the template without having to re-draw it, although I probably will since there were some things about it I didn't like. But still.

Now back to Dray's previously scheduled thread.

I'm actually putting up the winters that I have up on my dtf site right now, no guarantees that they'll all work properly but the structure will be there. I didn't get one of those myself,

I checked through and I don't think I ever got one from a giveaway unless I tucked it away in a weird folder somewhere. I know I don't have one labeled starrs of fire, but I do have starthief as a folder.

In his dragon form he looks much like his father, except the typical Askan skullcap is replaced with an untidy mop of hair.
Personality: Unfortunately, Sharxu suffers from mental illness just as his father does, although his is more of a form of autism than schizophrenia. He's trapped inside his head much of the time, very difficult to draw into reality. With a bit of "mental assistance" from someone like his half-sister Eala he can focus pretty well. He's a savant when it comes to composing music and playing the violin.

I just stumbled over some bipedal dragons that were mostly finished in my folders and was wondering if the folks who applied (Kendarath and Kayla -- unless I missed someone!) would like them or would rather wait for a four-footed dragon! Normally I'd just give 'em away, but it has been a while and I like to double-check for dragons like hydras, bipeds, xenos, or other things that are really different from the norm, just in case!

Of course, if you'd like a biped and have paged your last dragon from this thread, you can always jump in on it. XD I forgot that there were quite a few.

(And as a clarification, I mean the raptor-stance sort of biped, with the back being more parallel to the ground but with arms that don't support the dragon's weight, as opposed to a human with a straight-up back!)

Merely bipedal! One of my Wylds got lucky in the 'who's gonna have BEHBEHS?!' draw. :3 mom and dad are pretty different -- the offspring have regular (if bipedal-making) arms instead of stumps though. ^_^"

Appearance: A short, rather gaunt looking young man with pale skin, black hair, and green eyes, Jabir also has one club foot due to a childhood illness. He is otherwise quite handsome, though sometimes his expression gives him away as being broody or troubled. Recently discovering the joy of spectacles has given him the ability to see again, something that had slowly been degrading (and adding to the squinty, troubled look) since he first rolled open a hide dealing with dragon anatomy. Many people have looked upon his bookish appearance and physical detriment as something to scoff at, which might be why Jabir tends to look reserved or cold to strangers.
Personality: He is an intellectual with an ever expanding need to know things, though his specific area of interest is currently in dragons. Jabir loves the creatures -- and after discovering the Nexus, that love has only grown. Humans, on the other hand, Jabir tends to dislike on principle. Aside from close family, he's been hurt a lot by those who would make fun of him. When he's targeted (and sometimes in pre-emptive strikes) Jabir can come up with extremely dry, stinging remarks. He's observant and critical of others and lets them know that he notices slip-ups... it's partially a cover for his own insecurities and partially a challenge, as he's still young enough to feel like most people and events are judging him back.

She's also a very resilient person, given that she is still strong and unjaded by her experiences. Belia is intelligent and observant, and knows when to fight and when to keep her mouth shut. She is altruistic, giving what she can to those who need it around her. She's seen by some as a saint, though others assume that Belia's open friendliness is a scheme to attract the attention of those with wealth... whatever it is, she has been noticed, but for good or for ill...

Haha that is something to contemplate. Haven't some people given out vampiric dragons for Halloween and "Evil" clutches? I know one of the OAC dragons that Fuzzy gave me, Jangakith, /thinks/ he's a vampire. Dracula is his hero.

Which kinda gives me another question. Humanoid candidates have their life-spans lengthened by being bonded to their dragon, or so I've come to understand, so would it work vice-versa? I know a good number of people have "immortal" characters, or characters with reeeaaally long life-spans, like Elves. Would that cause their dragon to have a longer life-span? Or would the dragon eventually die of old age, therefore usually taking the bond with it? It's just something I wondered.

I would say that'd have to depend on the type of immortal involved.

Many of my abode-elves are immortal, or close to it, but the wouldn't die if their bond animal did, even a dragon. Considering that elves 'recognize' to breed, establishing a tight mental and emotional bond with their partner - when one of those partners dies, the living one may WANT to die too - but they often get over it. I'd say its a lot like that for my elves at least, and their mortal bonds.

Magical immortality, though, like with my one Sanger, Lucas the dragon-mage, he'd be able to extend his dragon's life (if she weren't already who she was lol) indefinitely using magical means.

But then again I don't like killing off either dragons OR my characters, so I'm not a good one to ask lol.

I had to ask this when I had an immortal char bond an Asandus... that's a spell-based bonding that makes bonder and dragon "catch up" to each other in physical age and then share a lifespan that's the balance between the two species' natural limits. As it turned out, it meant the Asandus would be immortal, too!
