Allain nosed around with Meneia when they noticed that two of their more boisterous pack members had gone missing for a while. It wasn't uncommon for the pack to split up and hunt or scout, dig around their territory and then come back a week or so later. But this was several weeks if not a full month ago, and they'd begun to worry. After all, Daelan was Meneia's offspring and she still felt a little connected to him, and his sister Daylara was even more fretful.
It wasn't long, however, before they found out why the pair had sequestered themselves. A small litter of four colorful pups could be heard in their dark, narrow den.
"Oh, my," Allain chuckled, "well, you're a grandmother now, Meneia..."
The silver colored female aimed a blast of cold wind at her partner, "hush you, don't make me feel old."
It was then that they saw Rein's nose poke out from the den, she clearly heard the pair of Alphas. When she came out, the dalmatian colored wolf could hardly be distinguised from the dirt, until she shook it all free with a great effort. She hung her head low, curled her tail down, and mantled her wings in submission.
"Oh there's no need for that," Allain chirped happily. Meneia glared at him fiercely but said nothing. After all it was he who brought all these others to the Keep, she was more in charge of helping the Glenn Dragons on their way. The pack was his business.
"We weren't sure you'd approve," Rein said softly. She was normally extremely playful and busy-bodied, like her sire Eaaril, but taking care of cubs brought her down to earth a bit.
"I don't," Meneia muttered, her position as Alpha female would typically have guaranteed her a say in whether anyone else bred, but ... again, pack matters were up to Allain.
"Well we can't really keep all of them here," Allain said mostly to mollify Meneia. "We'll get them healthy and trained, you just concentrate on protecting them, eh?"
Daelan appeared, with a rabbit in his mouth and realized that the Alphas had arrived. He thought about offering them the rabbit but then heard his foursome of pups in their snug den below and proudly laid the kill at his mate's feet. "She needs to keep her strength up," he said.
"You see, Meneia, they're going to be fine, the Keep is big enough in the meantime."
"Let's not allow this to be a common occurrance," she warned.
It wasn't necessary to warn these two ... but perhaps others...

So: there are four pups, I'd like to keep one but since drawing them and coloring I can't decide which to keep

There are three males and one female, and all are... quite colorful

I'll include a personality blurb and such when they're adopted.
Pretty much I think it'll be first come first served, since they're actually finished and I know that folks are here now... no waiting.

So, there was a litter on Melolong, and here are the results as I have them - I have no other info, seriously, don't know where it was, where it could be. But if you recognize your caretaker/sponsor's name on this page, tell me! I'll post the adults, shortly then.
