September Dragon Giveaway: Results are in! :D

Space: Heavenly Bodies

Woot! After coming in second twice in a row, Birthstones finally won! :D And we have two second place themes this month, which will both carry over to next month, while the last option is recycled back into the system for later. ^.^

Now, for those of you who have been in on this since it's conceptualization, or who participated in one of the previous month's giveaways, you already know how this works, so this'll mostly be a review for you guys (though I did change a few things from how I wanted it set up in the first month, because it didn't work the way I thought it would). For everyone else, this is how it works:

Everyone:
Whether you plan on participating or not, if you want a dragon from any of the giveaways, you sign the forms found in their respective giveaway threads. Most of the time, you won't know what you'll be getting until they come out, but some giveaways may show an example of the template before you apply. That is entirely up to the artist in question.

Participants:
There are two ways in which you may participate. The first is to create a template (or limited run of uniques, if you'd rather not make a template) for the giveaway. This can be a random dragon, a breeding, etc... Whatever you deem appropriate. The specifics of the dragon are completely in your hands. For this month's theme, please see the info listed below for ideas, or you may do your own research.
The second way is to write a story around the theme. This can be a place for the giveaway dragons, a character learning about the subject in question, or whatever, so long as it is also inspired by the monthly theme.
Participants do get perks, however. I would suggest that anyone doing a limited run of dragons (as in, not enough for everyone, whatever reason you have; a breeding, or a handful of uniques) hold off on their giveaway until the end of the month, when you know who is definitely participating (unless you don't really care who's participating or not, in which case.. *shrug!* it's up to you!). Participants will usually have a better chance of getting one of those few dragons.
Lastly, you can run your giveaways any way you like, or you can ask that I run them. Entirely up to you. ^.~

Non-Participants:
If you're not planning on participating, you need not worry about any of the above. Simply fill out the forms and wait for the giveaways. However, as I said in the participant section, you'll likely have a better chance of getting in on limited run dragons if you're a participant. However, I don't foresee many draws like that.

Well. Apparently we had a three-way-tie last month. That means I only hafta pick one new theme for this month! WIN. XD

As always, all categories are open to interpretation, adapted into Nexus-breedable dragon form. And if you don't plan on participating, please feel free to vote anyway. Pick what you'd most like to see! Very Happy

Space: Heavenly Bodies
Yup, you got it. Make up a dragon (or species of dragons, or color, or abilities) using planets, stars, moons, comets, asteroids, etc.. as inspiration. These do not have to be 'real' heavenly bodies; they can be entirely fictional, or just speculated in science. Have fun! :D

Nature: Foliage (XD)
Any plantlife, whether green and photosynthesizing or insectivorous, land-bound or sea-going. If it's not animal or mineral (yes, mushrooms totally count as foliage in this theme X3), this is your chance to use it as inspiration!

Animals: Amphibians
Fairly straightforward theme, though whether these dragons are based on a particular amphibian (like poison arrow frogs, or mudpuppies), a group as a whole (frogs, salamanders) or just amphibians in general (sea-and-land, gills or not, moist critters), is entirely up to you.

Elements
This theme covers the four classic elements, as well as things like spirit, metal, wood, light, dark, time, etc... Pick one, or all, and use it/them as inspiration for your dragon(s). :D

Also, does anyone still have their dragon from breeding one of the KHC? I was thinking of using one of these guys for a giveaway this month. If not, I can think up something else. ^_^
