For example, look how the lines on the building would vary depending on where I put the vanishing point. It looks like, going by the lower figure, that the red set is what you were aiming for.
This is extremely quick and sketchy, smacked down while friends I have over are distracted by my kitten, but hopefully it gives you the idea!

Oh wow. *stares* See, half my problem was my only experience with perspective was in high school for a couple weeks (it was never mentioned in college, oddly). It's one of my huge weak spots right now.
Now, with those in place, would the figure's position still be fine as-is? I'm leaning towards the red lines rather than the red (which looks plain weird to me).
