So I've been workin' on my deepsea!dragon, and after having -finally- fixed my computer, I'm all but done with the coloring. ^.^ Don't have time to put up the form just yet, but I'll do that tonight, along with the poll for the next monthly theme.

But! You can totally have a preview. :3

(They look much better on a darker background. >.>;)

Nobody did a transparent!arthropod!eel!dragon yet, right? :D

A little info about these dragons. :3

Please notice that they have no lungs. This is because they can (and do) just absorb all the oxygen they need directly through their skin. So they can technically live both in water (at any depth) and out of water (though they'd dry out quickly and have to rehydrate often). This also means that they can neither speak aloud, nor make any form of vocal sound whatsoever. (They don't have vocal chords, either. Not very useful in the deep sea.) They do, however, have extremely acute telepathy. It is both strong enough to reach several hundred miles, and precise enough to pinpoint a singular individual within a crowd. (So they can find others of their species far across the ocean, and also speak without giving their position away to predators or prey.)

As for abilities, along with their telepathy, they are very obviously bioluminescent (though I changed the orientation/number/ect.. of the glowey bellyspots.. hope no one minds, I like it better this way!), and they also sizeshift between two sizes; one very large (think whale) and one very small (think shrimp). I'm going to leave the exact measurements of these two sizes up to you, but just keep in mind that this is not unlimited sizeshifting.. they only have those two sizes.

And if anyone was wondering, this is totally a mix between an amphipod (transparency), a snipe eel (general shape), and a hatchetfish (glowing underbelly!! :D)

And now, the pickups! :D (And remember, they do look an awful lot better on darker backgrounds. >.>;)
