quick trade, of sort

:3 dunno if any of you remember my face.

I have these two characters for a story which may or may not come into the existance in the form of comics. i kind of doubt it, but it's a thought. I also have an insanely chaotic life right at this set of moments, so i haven't got a lot of time to do the traditional actual typing up of stories and whatnot and do traditional candidates, though i miss htat a lot and could use the distraction.

so i offer a deal, if anyone's interested-
i would be greatly appreciative if someone could impress them with a dragon or something. it could be specially drawn or one you have on hand. possibly from an existing clutch, but idon't wnt to take any places if the eggs are by reservation or whatever. :3 so standalones would probably be preferable. i would prefer no set get-them-up-by dates, but if you'd like them up by a certain time, i will attempt to comply.

in return, i will draw you a draggy of your choosing. original species of yours or mine, offspring of two dragons you own, etc. no have-it-up-by dates, or anything like that. just tell me what you want, and i shall dooooo.

at the moment, i'monly looking for the two. evntually, perhaps there might be more. i'll go ahead and make their sheets and everything-- tell me how much info you want/need and i will give. the two chars are based in stargate, too, and are tok'ra-- so any dragon would preferably bond to both the mind of the symbiote and the host, which might also make things difficult. i do have simpler chars, if you would prefer.

eventually i'll have examples. dunno ow soon though.

also, i may be hard to reach on here-- so i'd appreciate, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, shooting me an IM or email? I understand if it's too much trouble, i'm asking for a lot here. in case-

A bunch of the recent giveaways are still open; I bet you could get quick dragons out of that without having to worry about doing the trade bit!

i noooticed, and they intrigue me, especially the deep sea ones. :3

but i also do want to do the artwork. <.< I've been just doing wajas commissions lately, and i'm aching for a change of pace. like dragons. :3

I'll stick them in giveaways if no one wants to trade, though.

Bet you could do a couple of giveaway for this month and last month (I'm still planning my mythology-based template, and screwit if it's not May. XD) and people'd be happy! ^_^

I've got too many side distractions and things-to-do to offer you a custom-drawn dragon, but I'd be happy to color you up any one of my templates if there's one you particularly fancy? If you wanted established lineage/origin, I've got three dragon-mutts in the Abandon/Purge section at the Fate gathering dust, and you'd be welcome to choose one of them if you liked, too. :B

Hi, I don't think you know me, but I have to say: Stargate!fancomic? I am instantly intrigued.

I am doubly intrigued how Tok'ra are getting dragons... *covetous glance towards this mentioned story*

I'd do a thing for you, a unique and everything. I'm just not nearly so epic as Phe and Uny and... pretty much everyone else around here. ^^;

Good luck with it, though.

I'd love to hear more about it.

Older templates are good. :3 actually, the fewer strings attached the better.

so just a random dragon from a template you've got sitting around is fine. :3 as for which-- surprise me?

iinteresting features, perhaps, and something that can teleport? And which is capable of bonding to two minds in one body.
what info do you need from me, character wise, and what would you like me to draw fo you?

I liked he ideas of tok'ra and dragons. :3 especially ones that can teleport-- it strikes me as being a useful thing for the tok'ra to have. the gou'old too, possibly.

but then again, i tend to populate all my worlds with dragon-bonds and whatnot. Sooooooo i may be biased.

Well, if all you want from me is an image and basic stats to play around and fit to your character as needed, I don't need anything. X3 If you want me to flesh it out with a basic personality (as I do when adopting out dragons from my agencies), then I need to know the personality and goals of the character it'd be going with. I know NOTHING about Stargate or the tok'ra. XD

In return, well... I've been having lots of fun with people breeding my Anathema to a dragon of their own (any alignment, preferably with strong/nifty abilities) and giving me the resulting Balespawn to play with. Could you do that, too? X3

Curiousity now begs questions. What basic general timeline are you looking at? pre-Tau'ri meddling, post? AU?

Well, the goa'uld seem to be the sort of fuckers that would want their hands in everything, and would have their hands in it if anyone else did. :3 And they'd probably go ahead and use draggies as status symbols or something. anything to one-up your fellow system lord, and all of that shit.

I was just gonna do my own private thing with this, but if you all are interested, maybe we could hash it out some.

I wasn't gonna do AU or anything. Just kind of.. side-story in the setting, not involved with any 'main' characters, so without any real relevance to the main plot of SG. Probably my events would happen a few hundred years before.

boyfriend mentions a cameo by teal'c. THIS WOULD BE INTERESTING.

but aside from that.

Phe- I'll take a very, very basic personality if it's not too much trouble.

I think I'll toss you the male, whose name is still in progress. that's always the last thing i choose. he hasn't got a page either, because i'm on a new computer and also i forgot the login info to star's domain.

I fail, but here's his info-

goa'uld are parasitic assholes that live in the head of huma hosts for funsies and try to take over worlds and stuff. tok'ra are the parasitic hosts who decided the whole forced host thing was not for them, and neither was the whole being-a-powerhungry-asshole thing, and are rebels and such. they're the good guys. that does stargate no justice, but the relevance is that the tok'ra share the body of the host human willingly, and stuff. beneficial to both host and symbiote.

and they usually have good relationships with their hosts, none of that forced repression stuff. So there's two minds active in one body, and ideally the dragon would bond to both of them.

Host name: Djar
Symbiote's name: ???????? PROFIT!
Both male
Djar's and ????? have a rocky relationship, which is smoothing out slightly. Djar was not originally taken as a host willingly, but obviously this has since changed. Relationship between ??????? and Djar is still pretty rocky. They're also both rather headstrong and can be assholes. Djar especially is prone to rash decisions. ??????? has a short temper, and has only recently become Tok'ra, so occasionally he forgets that you can't just take everything by force or whatnot. He is very slowly making ammends and soothing things out, especially between himself and Djar. While both Djar and ?????'s first reaction is to shoot things first and ask questions later, they both are relatively sweet after that first impulse, and when they get past it, come up with surprisingly rational ideas.
I still have to work out some of his backstory.

the father is chernobyl. so radiation powers. This guy is a demi-godspirit by mindspace standards, and has the potential to reach full-godspirit level very very fast. you choose gender. :3 and all of that. i'll give you more power info when i finish it, and wahtever other info you want. ^^

oh, that image should be interlaced, so it should theoretically look good on a black bg. i've never tested it though.

powers: whatever anathema contributes + biohazardous/radioactive magic, the ability to filter out radioactivity in any given area, inflict radiation poisoning, [weak, can grow stronger-] heal radiation poisoning, telepathy, wordless telepathy, plane walking, weak shapeshifting [beast-human spectrum].
with a really good teacher, it has the potential to learn advanced necromancy.
as it ages, it MAY develop a radioactive aura. that i'll leave in your hands.
can also learn most other forms of magic.
may also develop some of it's mother's sickly reactions to it's own radiation, where it has radiation sickness and a low immunity, but any such infections it picks up will not kill it. may, over time, develop true immortality.

at the beginnings of it's life, it's strong, but at about half god-strength. however, should it choose to develop it's skills with practice, it can reach godspirit-strength. it will always be slightly weaker then chernobyl, who is one of the strongest godspirits in mindspace. that said, chernobyl lacks a presence of mind to actually use her powers by choice most of the time, and this being will probably not have that handicap.

Well then, I'll just have to do my best to match that level of awesome. Let's try this out.

This is Reaphande Mei'Dtande. (Ungeared image here.)

He may be Abstract Destiny born and bred, but there's no strings attached-ness for you to worry about. But yautjadragons are definitely made to be good guys fighting against bad guys, despite commonly having attitude problems of their own, so Reaphande would be happy to bond Djar and his symbiote both as allies in their own battle, as well as a very big, growly, sit-down-and-shut-up conscience for whenever the symbiote and/or Djar get a little too ahead of themselves. ;)

Reaphande is male, about 14' at his shoulder. His natural abilities are Acid Immunity, Huntermind Communication (for talking with other yauties all over the 'verse if needed), Telepathy, and Teleportation. He is also a Blooded ranked dragon, evidenced by his gear. His Hunting Mask gives him a variety of vision modes he can toggle through, his Wristblades can slice through most organic matter easily, his left-hand gauntlet contains the controls for a "Shift-Suit" cloaking device, the Smart-Disc on his hip slices through foes when thrown and can be recalled by a second device in the left gauntlet, and the Plasmacaster mounted on his shoulder is mask-aimed and fires bolts of superheated plasma up to 1000 feet.

If he doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll come up with something else, but the goa'uld/tok'ra dynamic seems fitting for one of these!

I saw this a few days ago but didn't have time to respond, so i'll respond now.

Phe, i LOVE him. And i'm insanely honored that you'd give me a yjauta for this storyline, both because of what they are and also because he fits absolutely PERFECTLY. :3 Seriously, i cannot think of a better match.

now i'm actually going to have to attempt to get these little comics out ofmy journal and online. :3 though i am scannerless and cameraless, so this mightr be easier said then done.

however, he is freaking AWESOME.
