hehehe, they're not technically sea horses... >_> At least, that's what the sign said at the aquarium lol!

I will definitely be offering a sea dragon, but I have to choose between one very odd one, and another slightly less odd idea.

Here's some info about our LeafySeaDragon-Dragons.

*Leafy Seahorse Dragon-Dragon Abilities

Notes: Once a year the LSD-D sheds its leafy protrusions and is “bald” for a week before they grow back, usually larger and/or more elaborate than before.

Camouflage– The LSD-D can hold perfectly still to blend in with it surroundings.

Amphibious – LSD-D is comfortable on both land and sea (those are, in fact, hooves on the end of their legs

).

Aphrodisiac – the shed leafy protrusions are a powerful aphrodisiac when consumed

Flight – the six large protrusions on the back of the LSD-D function as wings, enabling flight above ground, and greater speeds underwater.

eta: also, how big are they, how many months/years does it take them to reach maturity, and can they speak telepathically or verbally?

eta2: does their aphrodisiac also increase fertility (say I want to make a clutch larger than it normally would be -- could I say the mother ate these guys' leaves to make that happen?)

They're about the size of a shetland pony. They're average intelligence, but communicate only through animal sounds (Maer adds that they probably sound somewhat like a trumpet).

About 28 months to reach maturity.

And I will say yes to that use of the aphrodisiac, because it's interesting
