Bower Updates

A whole lot of updates all bundled together:

1) The latest clutch is available for application -- Deadline is a lengthy June 30th, as I'll be busy most of this month! There's nothing especially special about the clutch, though a more accurate example of what these guys will wind up looking like will hopefully tempt you!

2) Anybody know if Shiolar is lurking around these forums? If he is, he gets a freebie from the above clutch. (It's a longshot, I know, I just wanted to put the offer out there, since he was kind enough to let me borrow Oplintas oh-so-long ago!)

3) Due to unforeseen events, Reiyha Chxalli has been abandoned, but he's found a home with Neogeen -- Neo, I just need a link back and I'll remove the 'abandoned' from his name on the records page! No resurrection required this time around.

4) Adult firelings must be paged no later than June 30th -- 1 month from now! I've found that most are paged already, so thanks in advance, everyone!

Questions and comments, feel free to shoot them my way. ^_^ I think that's it!

Sorry for the fins, Phe! X3 Her great-great grandkids shouldn't have to worry about them, though! ;)

Yeah, the molten metal breath comes from the Wyld side a few generations back: in the generator it comes out as 'breath weapon based on coat colour', but since that girl is 'ore'... well. XD You get some neat treats with that kind of a generic ability!

Oh, haha, don't worry about the fins, I'm sorry if I came off sounding critical! All I meant was my amusement that Chiroptidae's one breeding has resulted in further generations -- which will now grow insanely considering its addition into the BWR lines! X3

(Though of course the most boggling rights remain with my Ryoniko, who co-started it all! :O)

Apparently when the page first went up with the pairings, my cache was uberstubborn, and I got Oumkay's original nonflamed hatchling from it. When I went back to doublecheck things, I discovered the fireball forms.

I will try and update the story if I have time, but I'm starting summer school tomorrow so we'll see how this turns out

Also ... it's kind of funny ... but Misalo kind of reminds me of my ex boyfriend

He didn't at first obviously but after the hatching I was thinking "I wonder how I can make him be both easygoing AND adamant ... oh wait ... THAT'S how" They even look somewhat alike because my character based on him was a gray striped catboy. This is not a bad thing of course, I just find it hilarious! Since he'll be traveling with Kaiya for awhile, and Kaiya is my shameless Mary-Sue self insert, I can perhaps use this as a great source of story plot angstage *rubs hands together with excitement*

X3 The fiery ones are the 'correct' versions, as fireling babies are basically little balls of flame from the start -- the non-flamey images were what they'd have looked like were they half-breed mortals!

Just a reminder that the current black clutch will be closing at the end of the month (less than half a month away, egads!) and there have only been a couple of applicants. 3/19 spots filled! X3)

These guys aren't too shabby, and don't require special stories or character types or anything, so if you want a fluffy, feathery, somewhat swimmy dragon, now's a good time to toss an application in!

Blah, Artdragon has been down for a while and it's still down (every time it's down for more than a couple of days, I get the finger-nail chewing fear that it's down for good. :x) Oh well, what can you expect with free hosting with no ads, I guess.

Anyways, I finished the next batch for once I can grow the black clutch (which still only has like 3 applications... xD I may extend the deadline for that as well.)

Is there another way to send you in people so that you could get your clutch hatched, rather than waiting for the site to finish being not happy?

Just curious because I would hate to miss a deadline extension because I was at work or something and I know Rath has someone as well for you ...

Hmm, I don't know that it could make a difference! XD I can't put up the hatched clutch until the site comes back (unless I were to use a temporary account, somehow) and you guys don't have access to seeing the clutch, if you wanted a preview. X3

If you wanted to put your name and email here along with a stats page or an unpaged 'suggestion' sheet, where you make up a sponsor/bonder, and don't mind getting a random pairing, I can do that. I'm going to tack on an extra week to whenever Artdragon comes back up, though, so there should be time to process things normally!

(Once I'm done with school and loans, I'm totally getting my own website. XD Gah.)

Getting a website of one's own is only about 14.00 canadian a month. And when you sign up at first there are always awesome "for the first couple months" deals.

Yeah, but on the kind of budget that I'm swinging, that $14 can make all the difference. XD I'm a big saving-pig... I like to be able to sit on my hoard, even if it is only made of gutter-pennies and cart-quarters towards the end of the school year!
